I am in a wheelchair, Can stand up, but need support. Having an Xray standing against a wall, nothing to hold on is dangerous, and stupid, nearly had a fall. Getting on the bed is the same. Noting to hold on.

My family and I have been coming here for many years and always treated well. This morning I asked Steph if I could sit in isolation as there were quite a few people in the waiting room. Reason being my immunity is poor due to chemo drugs for stage 4 breast cancer. I was told no and to go and sit in my car out in the cold. WOW!
Last week I rang to book an appointment for xray and was told no appointments required for X-rays (can be done anytime) but chose to book to avoid having to sit in waiting room full of sick people. My name was taken but no booking was made. WOW!
Turned up for xray at 8.05am this morning and was told they don't start xrays until 8.30am. Another disappointment.

I hope Steph receives the training she needs to understand the plight of immune compromised patients and the common sense to practice compassion when dealing with patients who worry about their health and safety.

On the upside, the xray lady was awesome! Happy, courteous and friendly.

What a lovely delightful young lady at the front desk Steph was, the rest of the staff were so pleasant and helpful, taking the time to explain, can’t remember a nicer experience going to a medical centre

Went there for the first time today and had a lovely experience. Every team member that I dealt with was so nice and it didn't take long. Understand that a lot of people don't behave well so extra kudos

I would like to acknowledge Thai (hope the spelling is correct) on his professionalism, care, compassion and understanding that he showed to my sister Recently Alba is mentally challenged and was very frightened of CT scans. He showed a lot of patience and compassion towards her as the scans had to be repeated as she was so nervous. Most impressed!

A reception staff member has now yelled loudly to eight patients because the patients cannot hear her through the Covid screens. When so many people are saying pardon, there is an issue. Please speak clearly and be a little more understanding and kinder. And maybe reception should consider the placement of the computer monitors. They are blocking the only outlet for any form of hearing from the patients.

I had a CT- guided spinal cortisone injection on the 12th of December 2022. It went horribly. Everything seemed fine at first. I was wheeled out in a chair and told I must sit there for 30 minutes. That was okay and I was allowed to go home following that.

I was sent home with the strict instructions to NOT lie down for 6 hours. I had to remain somewhat upright. This is also stated on their after care pamphlet they provide. I didn’t know better so I listened to those instructions.

I was advised that it may or may not remove the pain, however, no one mentioned that I may end up a lot worse. As the week progressed my pain increased. On the 7 day mark I had been to 2 drs appointments already. I would stand up and just collapse, I was unable to walk, I couldn’t do anything without using crutches. My legs just gave out. I then had to go to the ER so they could do blood work to make sure it wasn’t due to an infection.

No infection was found, I just wasn’t provided good aftercare instructions so the cortisone failed to work. Everyone who I tell is horrified that I couldn’t lie down properly for 6 hours due to the instructions clearly stating “remain in an upright position. ”

Others who received this treatment were advised to lie down at home for at least two hours. And their Cortisone worked.

I had to miss two weeks of work right before Christmas because I physically couldn’t walk. I was terrified because I couldn’t walk, was losing feeling of whether I needed to go to the toilet, and I had not been informed that this reaction was possible.

I’ve never had such a traumatic experience with the medical system. I don’t think I could ever get a Cortisone injection anywhere ever again due to the trauma this experience has caused me.

I still want to acknowledge the staff were relatively nice to me though, so there’s an extra star in the review for that.

Staff were good n friendly. Don't forget staffs are dealing with so many ppl everyday, can't please everyone, besides we all humans might have personal or family problems, can't smile all day long, believe alot of ppl dont realise that they are rude themselves, don't point fingers, everyone just try to do their jobs n make a living

Needed a dental xray for my 8yo and went to I-Med. I'd been years ago and had been happy with their service. Needless to say this visit was just as great. I was told there would be a short wait, which it was. The radiographer Chris was fantastic. She called him in and introduced herself to him, made him comfortable and explained the whole process to him so well. The whole process was very quick, and the service we received was fantastic. I highly recommend I-Med, just an all round great service. Thank you!

Had an 8am appointment today with Tai. All staff l dealt with from reception and beyond we’re positive and professional. So happy my experience was good. Usually people never post positive comments because they’re happy. Will certainly use them if needed.

All the staff I talked to were really friendly, and all my questions were easily answered. Was really quick to get my scan done. It's honestly hilarious the negative reviews here being mad about not being served as a result of arriving late.

Booked for a ultrasound, received a text as out of pocket over $120 despite having referral and Medicare. They don’t do bulk billing. Lucky I checked with Marina and it’s zero out of pocket. Not recommended and unhappy with the lack of information received.

So I canceled my work shift today to get my ultrasound, its not easy to be sick and working at the same time and i have to make my own way to the hospital. I was late for 10mins bcs i went to the wrong hospital as i was in line waiting at the wrong place, so as I arrived where i supposed to be, this staff ask me if i wanted to reschedule it since they can’t make up my oppoiment as i was late for 10mins. I can’t hold up my bladder so i went to pee instead and went to the reception to ask when is the nearest oppoiment, she gave me the cold look and rolled her eyes on me and ask if i was on line and i said yes, she said to me she cant deal with me as there is so many patient and completely ignore me. I dont knw how busy u are but this treatment I’ve endure is very disrespectful to any place I’ve been

Never visit I-MED Dandenong, the staff are extremely rude specially the technicians. We went there for my partner's pregnancy US scan, drove an hour to get there but due to traffic got there 10 mins late. The receptionist took us in and we were waiting. After waiting for some time, I was told by the sonographer that she cant do the scan because we were 10 mins late. We explained our case and made many requests, but she refused. We were disappointed as we had got the appointment after waiting for 3 weeks. The sonographer was inconsiderate, rude, and incompassionate. If it helps we visited 25 March around 4pm. I saw other reviews and find that indeed it is not the right place to be in. We have been to other IMED places and they are very good and accommodating. Please dont go here.

I had an ultrasound here recently and the process was so easy and everyone was so nice. The technician and her student were so pleasant and efficient and the reception staff were really lovely and told me up front when I booked what the cost would be and were fantastic when I forgot my referral and had my GP fax it and then thought I was going to be late. Thank you all so very much, a fantastic team.

I had an excellent experience here recently.
I needed an MRI and found it easy to book over the phone and was given a price for it. Easy to check in when I arrived on the day and not long to wait for my appointment sitting in the large waiting room. Receptionists were all lovely dealing with myself and others on the phone and in person. Great carpark too as parking in Dandenong can be tricky. My results were given priority as I had an appointment with my doctor that afternoon. Definately recommend.

Poor customer service. Can someone train them to smile & greet the customer. Specialy the Fat lady who served me today with the attitude
