The desk staff here are completely adorable. They are kind and very patient with elderly patients. Thank you. Kindness is important when people are frightened.

I have attended several I-Med clinics and commend Bentleigh East on their customer service, from reception onwards. The staff were conscientious, caring and respectful. Keep up the great work.

I-Med, Mentone and Clayton ought to follow in the footsteps of Bentleigh East customer service skills.

Incredibly patient, welcoming and helpful. Fitted me in last-minute, cheerfully and professionally from phone, to front desk, to radiographer. I couldn't recommend Moorabbin East Beltleigh branch more! In direct contrast to Linacre branch, who were surly, impatient, alienating and generally offensive at every point of contact.

I received a message to call and provide some further information about my referral, but no one even tried to call me first.
I’m expected to sit on hold for 10+ minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.
Have some customer service and call us first. If we don’t answer, then send us a message.

UPDATE:
Now I find out your website let me book an ultrasound Thursday 18th May at 4pm but apparently you don’t offer that service after 3pm! Cancelled and I’ll go else where. Your customer service is poor and so is your booking system.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried for weeks calling them to make an appointment. Not once did they pick up the phone and a few times I selected the call back option and never received a call from them. Very unprofessional and it's best you go elsewhere for your needs.

It's actually a 0 star review here. Double appointment: 11: 15am xray, 11: 40am ultrasound (ankle, but have a broken leg post op). Asked to arrive at 11: 00 (which I did). I didn't get seen until after 11: 55. The whole waiting room cycled through newcomers the entire time. Sitting there the whole time with lots of pain with my broken leg and potentially fracture or torn ankle, getting told 'someone is coming now' over again. Ended up getting ultrasound first (11: 55) then waiting again for 25mins for a 5min xray (12: 30pm now).

Someone arrived at 11: 45 for a xray, and was in and out in 10mins.

Idk what the actual issue was but it felt pretty cold and careless. I'm not giving this place another chance. Take your pain meds before you go.

Seriously, it took 2 days to get an answer from clinic to access MRI scan. It was a simple process of giving us the Folio number & Physio being registered with IMED portal. Yesterday, the receptionist advised my husband (patient) to come in to pick up the MRI results (he is bedridden!) - its 2021 - not 1980's. An Electronic system is in place and patient should be advised of this or when patient called yesterday he should have been given information immediately. Wife (me) had to call today and spend time on phone getting information - finally information given. REALLY - processes and procedures of this clinic need to be updated - as injured or unwell patients dont needed added stress of trying to get access to their own imaging

They were very helpful & made me feel relaxed. They made the MRI easier to handle by asking how I was & letting me know when I had 6 minutes to go. Very efficient.

I attended the facility for a weight bearing X-ray of my right ankle and foot on Tuesday 18 th May 2021 for Mr Tymes at Epworth The technician was rude, unprepared, she totally ignored my needs as a human being. She called me I followed her hobbling while using my walking stick and if she had asked me any questions or spoken to me in any way or even looked at me while I was walking she might have realised that making me climb up onto a very rickety grey scaffolding type of thing that she insisted I would have to do or I could go somewhere else, very bluntly. She didn’t realise that the battery in her slide was dead and meanwhile I’m 63 years old and I’m standing on this thing that is over 1 meter off the ground and it’s moving, so she wanted me to get back down she started pushing me in the side very firmly and it was not appropriate and I asked her to stop touching me at least 3 or 4 times up to the point where I got angry because that constitutes assault according to Victoria police and who I rang to get clarification. I know what my body is capable of and I didn’t need her digging me in the waist. After I get down and sitting waiting she was really angry and worked up so much noise was coming from the room because she was scaring me and her lovely colleague came to speak to her but I heard what she was saying and I was apparently the problem, so I got my shoes and socks and hobbled out of there in bare feet and it was a very cold day. I have meanwhile had a wonderful experience at another new company that my disability support worker found that bulk bill called Green in Clayton and the technician there was really astounded that anyone would have a problem with me because I have always tried to treat everyone the way I would like to be treated.

Sent through referral prior via email and confirmed appointment. Went in had scan done and was told specifically to skip reception and just leave by the technician. Then 1hr later they called to tell me to come back for another scan because it wasn’t done! NO sorry or any apologies for their mistake on the phone. I expressed my upset bc couldn’t go back immediately and had to reschedule, but they gave no compassion or apologies.

I had an MRI at East Bentleigh and the whole experience was very good.
I was able to make the appointment online, including uploading the referral. When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. They gave printed info about the procedure and its risks. The MRI tech was on time for my appointment and explained everything to me with patience and kindness.

I have recently had another MRI at Holmesglen, which was an unpleasant experience. The machine at i-med was newer, the nurse who gave me the contrast dye injection was excellent. They put a cushion under my knees so my back didn’t hurt and they gave me earplugs to protect my ears from the noise.
I was so calm and comfortable, I’m sure I would have fallen asleep if I’d stayed there any longer.

Although the scan was not covered by medicare, it was $20 cheaper than at Holmesglen. Plus they handed me all my images on a disk at the end of the scan; I hadn’t even requested this. At Holmesglen, they said they would mail me the disk but they never did. I had to go back to the clinic to get my images to give them to my specialist.

I’d definitely recommend i-med East Bentleigh for an MRI.

My friend is a fronline health worker in this covid-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, she got covid-19 during an outbreak at the hospital she works. She is fully recovered months ago and was cleared by DHHS. She went to this radiology this week for a follow-up chest x-ray. However, she was treated rudely when the staff found out she had covid-19 before. She was asked to leave and waited in her car. At the end, the staff refused to do her chest x-ray and asked her to leave. You should be ashamed for not treating her with respect and appreciation since she has risked herself to help people in this difficult situation.

Despite it says "Many imaging studies are partially covered by a Medicare rebate. " in their web page, they made me pay for simple hand x-ray without any explanation. Front desk people are not very friendly and keep me waiting and prefer to call while I'was waiting.

The technician (?) was professional, personable, thorough, and let me breastfeed my baby son during his ultrasound to keep him calm. I recommend baby ultrasounds here.

Terrible service.
Promised to send my x-rays urgently on-line to my GP so I could go to hospital asap if leg broken. Would not discuss results or give x-rays/report to me directly.
. Two calls from me and to calls from my GP reception had no result over the next 2 hours.
My doctor finally got on to them 5 mns before they closed
Yes it was broken and I should go to hospital asap!
Will not be going back.

Disappointing, overpriced for essential screenings. Also, appointment was made at Mercy in CBD after call was made by phone with 760 Centre Rd, Bentleigh East VIC 3165. Thankfully I called to cancel. I was only then informed the appointment was actually at Mercy in Melbourne CBD, this was not communicated upfront as an option in order to offer me a sooner appointment. I was under the impression this appointment would have been with I-Med in Centre Road.

Great service.
Every time iv walked in for an x-ray I'll wait max 30mins which it way better than going to a hospital.
10/10 will be back since I'm injury prone.

Overpriced (50% more expensive than their main competitor), inadequate parking, inadequate seating in reception, one of the receptionists was terrible, blaring banal home shopping channel in reception, etc etc. Just painful. The only good part was the NMT, who was a lovely person. Would never go back.
