Twice now and reception staff have been very abrupt. So will always go somewhere else from now on!

I always feel welcome and cared for by receptionists and medical staff.
There is a great sign of expertise and effort to follow up with results.
The injection in the foot hurrts! However Doctor and radiographer are caring and kind!

Today I needed a CT scan and we had the pleasure of dealing with the lovely Lynette at reception. She was understanding and a pleasure to deal with when the reception was full and very busy.
Some people are made for their jobs - the technician Martin is an amazing human being who was so kind, gentle and considerate, and funny to boot.
I cannot thank all the staff for their thoughtfulness and professional assistance. Highly recommended.

I had my ultrasound appointment yesterday. I left on time for my appointment however didn’t realised that I took the right tram but in opposite direction. I realised and got off the tram and took the right one. I was definitely gonna be late. So, I called them and explained the situation and asked them if I have to reschedule. She double checked with the staff and said if I was there by 2: 40 it shouldn’t be a problem. I got there at 2: 41 I swear to god. The receptionist was helping other lady so I stand behind her and waited for my turn. When it was my turn it was 2: 43, I told the receptionist that I called saying I was running late, but she told me you are 5 mins late so you have to reschedule. The receptionist was very impolite and non-friendly and rude. I was in pain that’s why I booked at camberwell as it had the earliest appointment available. So basically, I took a day off from work, traveled more than 2 hours up and down for nothing.
I hope they don’t do the same thing to another patient.
Never in my life going back there again.

I had a horrible experience here this morning and I’m not one bit surprised by the bad reviews I’m reading. The receptionist I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with was rude and condescending. I had a morning appointment for my just turned 4 year old and was advised on a few occasions not to feed him 4 hours prior as he was going for an ultrasound. I prepped my child for this and he was totally fine to have a delayed breakfast. I then had the receptionist give me a lecture on how I should have given him something small to eat. The lady who was performing my son’s ultrasound was amazing and so empathetic and kind. I will at all cost avoid this place in the future due to the receptionist.

The culture is unethical and they treat bulk bulking patients like pedestrians. The X-rays were incorrect and bleached, no detail of fall area listed on 2 referrals. Two Doctors, a Chiropractor, a Nurse and medical support could not get results they could treat against or their cooperation and the report says suspicious fracture. What is suspicious is that they couldn’t find the fracture due to their operator not imaging the area specified in the referral otherwise the report would have confirmed the fractures. Further to this their lawless act of taking government money (Medicare) and not caring about lives and the consequences. I spent 2 days in hospital due the trauma and incorrect imaging. Left in agony for 10 days. They are callous and inhumane. There should be a government inquiry.

Reception staff incredibly rude and incompetent. Online booking system is a joke, my referral was sent in with my appointment, but no one bothered to actually look at it. Took the day off work and turned up to my appointment to be told that I had not booked correctly and it was my fault they are unable to perform the entire procedure. She offered for me to get the ultrasound portion of the procedure ($250) and come back again next week for the remainder plus another ultrasound ($500), why on earth would I pay for it twice? Her tone and manor was incredibly rude, speaking to me as if I was stupid. She argued with me about whether I had procedure previously, I had, at the same clinic, and only 2 years ago.
Last time I thought the doctor and technician were fantastic so was happy to make the drive expecting a similar experience - after speaking with the receptionist this time I will not be returning to any i med again. Medical receptionists need to remember that there are people who are sick or in pain coming to this clinic, and they may be quite fragile, the receptionists are not medical at all and should remember that.

Receptionist doesn't sound very polite and friendly. Sounds like she is more professional than our GP when the GP clearly said the issue is an urgent matter and she simply said NO It is not. If you don't have a spot available, that is fine, just say so - we all been through times when we are short staffed. But we don't need YOU to determine what is urgent and what is not.

I would like to speak to the manager and radiologist both on the phone to share my experience of my attendance in i-med camberwell on 15/01/2021 at 4pm.

I will change my opinion about i-med camberwell if they explain me of why the radiologist behaved me like that.

I went to this clinic for teeth Xray. I had an outstanding experience. The clinic is spotlessly clean, and staffs are friendly and efficient.

The actual radiology experience in Hobart was first class. Sadly the accounts section are very poor and seem incapable of providing honest answers. I paid the account in full, and have been waiting for six weeks for a refund cheque as my Medicare cheque was also directed to I-Med. Disgusted!

I’ve always had great service here. The only thing I’d suggest is finding an alternate way to wait in line. The number of people here with back pain who have to wait a bit to see the receptionist is quite extraordinary and I’ve experienced great discomfort waiting in line too with my back issues. Would have loved to have sat down if I could.

I was offended and humiliated when I attended MIA in Camberwell today. The receptionist kept us waiting in line, despite the fact that we (my children and I) were the only ones in line and did not apologise for keeping us waiting. Although we had a 3pm appointment, we watched patient after patient go in and we were left waiting. When I enquired about the wait, I was told we would be in next, but still patients went in ahead of us. When I asked again I was told it was because I was a "walk in" patient, which was absolutely not the case because we had an appointment. So not only are the reception staff rude, but also incompetent in taking the appointment bookings over the phone. I am just disgusted with the way we were treated by the reception staff today.

The reception staff was not friendly, talking very fast and did not seem to care.yes, sign in and go away!
one of the radiologists was very pushy when i got changed, i did not even have the time to put on the gown properly and had to walk outside with my gown opened at the back!
She kept asking 'are you ready are you ready are you ready are you ready are you ready are you ready are you ready ' and she opened the curtain and looked inside when i got changed. Does she enjoy seeing people get changed, only with underpants on?
Gee.how can this institute even exists to provide this service, a service that is so important to people's health?
Patients are in pain when they come to your place.tone it down and enough is enough.
Please treat patients with the basic respect!

Parking is terrible, we had to park a good distance away and walk on a 7° rainy day with a 4 month old baby. They do have minimal parking on site, one way in and out, I ended up reversing all the way out. Would of been nice to be greeted with a warm smile on arrival. However, the radiologist was lovely
