I-Med inside Linacre Private Hospital. Went there as had to pay 2 bills from I-Med Frankston Note bills not paid at time in Frankston as system down. When returned home realised only had receipt of 1 Medicare claim not both so rang to check that both had gone through and oh my goodness told would be 1 hour wait! OK I can do that as can read at same time. When on hold told can request callback and if select that option won't lose place in line. So I did and then was hung up on. So isn't that losing your place in the line! Anyway after hour was able to resolve issue. Or so I thought.next day when Medicare rebate had gone through for one bill only rang Medicare who though very helpful couldnt help me. Then rang I-Med Hampton. Spoke to 3 different people. Turns out problem was I-Med Peninsula putting same name down for referring doctor and provider thus Medicare couldn't process. Hampton rang Peninsula to sort out. Total time I spent on phone trying to resolve mistake made by I-Med Peninsula? Nearly 3 hours!

Had to make an urgent ultrasound appointment this morning at I-Med Linacre Private Hospital Hampton for suspected DVT and was able to be seen within an hour of calling.
The receptionist was lovely, as was the lady conducting the ultrasound. The exam was very thorough and she reassured me while I was there that I didn't have DVT and gave me some advise on reducing the pain I was experiencing and said that she would send the reports immediately to my doctor for review at my appointment tomorrow morning.
I did have some out of pocket expense (Medicare gap) for this urgent procedure but I didn't care, I was extremely thankful that I could be seen straight away and I also was happy to know I didn't have DVT and told straight away.
Excellent service and professionalism, thank you. AAA+

Rude reception staff. Have had scans here in the past and been forced to pay even though they had previously confirmed they bulk billed. This place forces you to pay so they get the funds instantly instead of invoicing Medicare through the referral provider number and waiting for reimbursement. Called today to enquire about an ultrasound and CT scan, was told they wouldn’t be bulk billed because “Medicare haven’t updated their procedures since the 1970s”. Literally a generalised factually incorrect statement, doesn’t actually explain why the scans would not be bulk billed and furthermore makes I-MED look like fools who make incorrect statements about government organisations. If you don’t bulk bill because you’re a private clinic and you feel like charging directly, then say so. Train your reception staff to be more polite and not make silly false statements.

Extremely disappointing! Was contacted a week ago to change my appointment date for the 3rd PRP procedure due to unavailability of Radiologist to perform the task. Received official notification via text of the new date and again another text this morning confirming same. Took time off work and arrived at Linacre I-MED this afternoon for the procedure only to find that they had booked a doctor to perform the task tomorrow, not today! Extremely poor administration and booking service!

Zero stars - this place doesn’t provide bulk billed services even if your doctor ask for it. Don’t waste your money, go somewhere else for the same service, where Medicare will fully cover the procedure & you’ll save 100s of dollars!

I had a lump biopsy this morning, my first at Linacre I-Med and I cannot speak highly enough of them. The receptionist right through to the doctor.all lovely. A special mention of the nurse, Sue, she was so lovely! She sensed my discomfort and gently reassured me with a rub on the foot. I mentioned it to my daughter when I got out to the car and she said, "I must have had the exact same nurse. She was so lovely" Keep up the stella work team!

This place called me offering a 20 weeks scan for my pregnancy. My doctor shared my details without my permission.
I booked an appointment, called a week before it to confirm the appointment, they didn’t have me on the system, couldn’t get the information.

Didn’t receive an email or automatic SMS.
On the day of my appointment, they didn’t offer me the photos for the scan, I asked they said that they were running out of paper due to COVID. I didn’t take any photos from my phone, I didn’t know they were out of paper. So now I don’t have any records for the scan of my pregnancy. I’ll need to go to another place do another scan só i can take the photos that want to. The people weren’t nice about and said that photos are old technology. Okay but still brings me a smile when I see the scan photos from my previous babies, and I would like to have them.
I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’m sorry.

Terrible reception area. I was one of six people on walking sticks and walkers standing in this long queue while one woman slowly, and curtly proceeded to arrivals.
Very poor.
