Terrible experience at the store. The store guy wasnot helpful at all. He had no interest in finding the sizes for the customers. On the top of that, I was told the shoe that had a sale tag on it wasnot at sale.

The store was super quiet and there was a worker at the front desk sticking stickers on shoes I went up and waited as I could see she was doing something…. 20 minutes goes by and I’m standing there and she didn’t even acknowledge me not even a hello won’t be a second. She stood there looked me up and down like I was an Inconvenience to her…. 25 minutes and still not even a hello so I left the store. I felt so uncomfortable. Purchased shoe from platypus and had a fantastic experience there, highly recommend them they were very attentive:)
Tonight I had the best experience in a long time from a retailer. I brought a pair of veja shoes that were faulty and all 3 team members helped me during the return. The nicest manager Ava sorted out my return and ordered me a new pair without any hassle at all. She even helped me find my receipt. Seriously great service I'd love Ava to work in my business. She deserves a call from her central office /manager for her amazing work. Thank you once again!
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the ‘manager’ as 3 of their staff had said one thing and she goes on to tell me something completely different and fails to comply with legalities of a simple discount, would like to put it out there that she walked off on me while i was in the middle of a sentence, never in my life has i been treated so poorly by someone who claims to be in charge.disgusting:)
Hi today I went to the shop and looked for a shoe and waited for more than 20 minutes then after that I just went and ask them how long it will take then the girl in the reception replied me very nicely.but in between another girl talked me very rudely so sad and I went without buying anything
Went in this morning to exchange pants for different size, Dude at the shop was willing to go extra mile to help me out by organising a return and re-ordering from another store. Absolute Legend
I purchased a pair of shoes valued at $210 and within five months the sole had completely worn through despite only minimal use. Staff told me quite plainly that this was considered "general wear and tear" and wouldn't be enough for a refund. However, they did offer me store credit.
The manager, blonde mid-20s woman, was quite rude and when I was browsing for replacement shoes I received no help from staff. I was eventually approached by a sales associate who had returned from their lunch break and seemed confused no one was helping me. I witnessed another member of staff talk to this employee, who then became quite dismissive and uninterested in continuing to help me.
If you're here to spend money, you'll probably be fine as I saw fantastic customer service for paying customers.
If you have an issue or need to return an item, expect it to be painful. Despite policy making faulty returns only possible in store.
To Aida, thanks for the lack of service. To Georgia, as a manager, thanks for not getting your staff to do some actual work, instead having a great laugh with your staff in a quiet store. The funny part is, I too used to manage in retail, and it was staff like you 2, that I would performance manage for not doing your jobs.
You cost yourselves a sale, and also a call to head office. Serving customers is part of your job. Not ignoring them.
Came into this store just after opening to get my son a pair of Nike air prestos. The staff all seemed to have there hands full with morning choirs however put everything aside to meet my needs while is highly appreciated. Dealt with the lady with the funky blonde mullet & have to say my experience differs from previous reviews. She seemed very real and genuine and wasn’t forcing products down my throat like some retailers, not the kind of thing you need at 9am. Overall very happy with my experience at hype chadstone:)

I had the best experience the other day at Hype Chadstone. I try avoid shopping at Chadstone at all costs as it can be extremely busy and the customer service can be poor. However, this was NOT the case at Hype DC. The store was busy (as expected) but the employees greeted me with smiles and made sure to kindly acknowledge me, even if they were already serving other customers. When they were free I was given top service and fabulous recommendations. The staff were very attentive and listened to my needs/wants. 10/10 would return even if that means facing the chaddy traffic
Staff were absolutely incredible! I was so unsure what sneakers to get and they helped me through the whole process, even though it was super busy in store. Thanks Georgia for your help! You were great and deserve a raise
Rude manager. Very poor service. DO NOT SHOP HERE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR AFTER SALES SERVICE. BLONDE MANAGER IS JUST AWEFUL
Just wow. The worst customer service I've ever received. Told my Nike shoes after purchasing them in Dec21 should not be a walking shoe. Air popped and there is no warranty because I've worn them too much. I asked if Nike would look at them and the most conferencing manager I've ever come accross us stated "you didn't buy them from Nike". Thanks I was aware of that. Rude arrogant and downright disgusting service. Manager needs a course in Customer service 101. Customer isn't always right but at no point does anyone need to be spoken down to. Train your team members better you never know who your customers are.
Helpful and attentive staff who provided great recommendations on shoes best suited to me. All staff had a positive attitude and were super friendly which is hard to come by these days. I will certainly be back!
