Not sure if I've reviewed this place before (forgive my alias name here). My partner and I worked with Hutchinson Legal, specifically Angela and Rachel for conveyancing services for the purchase of our first home. They were knowledgeable and highly professional. We always felt at ease and comfortable to ask any questions when we felt a little out of depth. I would always recommend working with them.

I had to sell a property and had no idea what to do, but Angela was incredibly patient and helped me through the process from start to finish.

We set up loan agreements with our children so that if we need to go into care then we can get the money back in 60 days. It also has safeguards if the marriages split up so the spouses cannot get their hands on the money. Not cheap but what law firm is?

Contacted Hutchinson Legal for a building dispute, was put through to one of their senior lawyer, whom missed 2 deadlines for sending information / cost schedule, and did not receive follow up despite telling them I'd like to proceed with their service.

+1 star as the initial phone consultation was somewhat useful.

The team at Hutchinson Legal were able to help us through our transition to our retirement village. Although the Resident and Management Contract with Ryman Healthcare is straightforward it was reassuring to have the expertise of the Hutchinson Team to review the details.

We used Hutchinson Legal (Ringwood) in July/August 2021 to take care of the conveyancing of a property we purchased and would highly recommend. Our conveyancer (Amanpreet Mintoo) was very communicative and incredibly clear throughout the whole process. Took the stress out of an already stressful month (as we opted for a 30 day settlement and had other things on our plates). Even our bank commented that our "conveyancer was one of the best they've worked with".

Would recommend using Hutchinson Legal / Amanpreet for a stress-free conveyancing experience.

I would not recommend them. I have been strung along by senior partners so I will not be contacting anymore. Ensure you obtain any costs prior to asking advise. Get References to ensure they have experience required and ask for weekly time spent or you might find your surprised how much time spent and how little use the advice is. Get everything in writing and keep correspondence. Also ensure you deal with differences opinion prior to the three years or legal ombudsman will be of little use. BEWARE
