Hunted Antiques & Collectibles reviews
63There is some great stuff for all tastes. Vinyl section has old and new items and there's always a Gen if you spend the time sitting through the stalls.
I was purchased pot yesterday. But the pot was licking. The shop can’t do the refund. I understand on the receipt written “ please choose carefully, we don’t do refund”. But the item quilt was so bad. The pot is not antique. And the shop policy is not quite clean.
Great place for vintage gaming. Easy friendly staff, nice people running the place. Highly recommend for vintage and retro gaming. Biggest collection in Melbourne.
Well with the visit if you like this stuff. More than just antiques and includes retro items and gaming consoles. There are many stalls owned by different sellers, and you can bring a shopping trolley around and gather items from all with one checkout process at the end. I was upset I didn’t arrive with more money to spend.
Having moved recently the layout is good but there seems to be fewer stalls with antiques. If your looking for retro, this is worth a visit
Thank you Michelle! (Metallica shirt girl!) You were a super star! Fantastic customer service and solid wood lifting skills!
It’s moved even closer to where I live! They have a great selection of vintage stuff, antiques & retro items. There’s a good vinyl LP stall too, which appears to be always well stocked. I like to just come in here to look around and pass an hour or two. I usually pick something up. The staff are helpful and friendly too!
This might be one of the select locations that no really knows about and the people of Bayswater are very lucky to have this antique store. I have never ever seen SO many retro video games in my life in this lousy decade we're in! It's covered from 8 bit to PS2/Phat Xbox and that's a wonderful site to behold as well. If you're a video game collector, this is the place. Because I'm from the Port Phillip area, H. A. C.is really hard for me to get too without a friend driving me there so Chapel Street Bazaar is about as good as I'm going to get here. Both places are actually similar in their layouts but H. A. C.is more of a cool shed-like environment and I cannot stress that they're so good that they even have toilets/restrooms as well (lift your game Bazaar over that!) so that's a definitive win as well! Really great staff as well who are are down to earth and not snobby who will work with you to get those best deal so all parties are reasonable and happy with the outcomes here. They're everyday hard working folk unlike other so-called pristine locations with their uptight attitudes etc. Sadly they don't really have that much toy collectables like the mainline stuff, they have afew but not as much as the city locations. But they make up for it with their service and insanely great prices which I admit kinda really shocked me over that. Because you don't know what you may find? ! It's a game of luck being at the right place at the right time. Definitely the best outer area Melbourne antique store around that could seriously challenge the city rivals. It's really far for me but I hope to someday come back sometime next year! Cheers Hunted Antiques & Collectables! 10 out of 10!
Amazing staff! A lovely young lady named Summer helped me and my wife with some cabinets. She was so polite and helpful, truly it was a delightful experience. The costumer service was wonderful. Thank you Hunted Antiques and collectables.
I've had some good finds here however a lot of their wares are more on the junky than antique side. Much better before they moved to Scoresby Rd. I just went today for the first time since they left the Kilsyth location and it was a bit disappointing.
Finally got to visit the new location (which is now within walking distance of my house!) I love going here and seeing what interesting things I can find. Being that there are so many individual stores inside, things are always changing. I love the new location. There’s plenty of parking out the front and down the side and the layout is perfect for making sure you don’t miss a thing. Some cool stuff to be found here!
Although smaller than the old Kilsyth store, plenty of nooks and crannies, makes you look a 2nd time around, found myself some good bargains (I wasn’t looking for)
Friendly staff. Large selection of stall holders and product. Their new location is more spacious and far easier to navigate up and down through the stall, which is a massive bonus!
This is my go-to place for gifts and presents, it's easy to get lost in the variety. Something for everyone.
Bought some things of eBay that was good, sent a email and didn't reply that was rude. Anyway there OK
Heaps to look at but the prices are a bit high.
The stall holders class it as "vintage" or "retro" but it looks just old and useless.
The warehouse has the nicer products around the front door but then it gets junky as you head further in.
Make a trip here if you are stuck for gift ideas, you can always find something different. Must be 100 didn't shops within a big shop. Be prepared to hunt.
This is one of the best places for someone who is interested on antinque. Huge and varity of collectable of antique stuffs are avaiable in store.
Its like an antique/garage sale divided in 100 stalls but much more interesting. I imagine movie produces shopping there to find authentic period items and clothes. Everything carefully priced too. I thought it's a bit like going to a museum and taking what you like home. Also lots of 70s electric and gaming stuff and tv/movie figurines.
