Hu Hui Supermarket reviews
14When I buy something, the price is 6.99, and when I check out, it’s 7.99. It’s quite a trick. Ask the staff to tell me that I can get a refund if I can’t accept it. Are there any merchants like this?
Clean and tidy store, Fresh vegetables and fruits. Well stocked, Good prices. Recommended!

It is located at the left side of the entrance. Tnere are not many people in the shopping centre as it is almost closing time.
Somehow it attracts my attention, probably it is quite different from other Asian groceries I have been to. It is not extremely bright, but the lighting intensity is good enough to highlight the products on sale. Although it is not an exceptionally large shop, it does carry stocks of a large variety of vegetables, dried goods and chilled/frozen products.
Price wise, it is competitive.
Didn't check out in order.
I was at first of the queue but was served til the end.
Full of the latest and variety of asian grocery. Long opening hours.
However, the staff always leave boxes and carts in the middle of the aisle and not by the side. And this is during both peak and off peak time. This always create a log jam and road block if you push a trolley from Woolworths.
Well, despite the staff being really helpful.the arrangement of the aisle is still too narrow.there were 4 aisle that we couldn't push our trolleys and strollers through. Which makes it really inconvenient when those who have kids and also need to purchase a lot of things.
I like to go shopping there for its location but last time I shopped, all the peaches I got were off. I’ll go back and let the manager know, will update this post after that.

Update: I went back to the store and the staff took it professionally. They checked their stock and provided me with a refund. I would recommend retaining a receipt if you buy peaches here.
Relatively new Asian Grocer with a great variety of products! Good deals on fresh produce, and well stocked overall. Love to visit!
They are our neighbourhood Asian grocery store. Sufficiently stocked for what you would need now. It is very convenient when you can’t be bothered driving for Asian supplies. Space is indeed a problem when social distancing is the norm. It is clean and decently maintained. A 3 star if comparing to The Glen Asian supermarket in terms of range of products. Customer service is the same as any Asian supermarket. It can be improved if they put their focus on it.
Excellent variety of fruit/vegetables and Asian grocery. Very good prices.
Shop there before going to supermarket.
Liked the choice for the fresh fruits and their quantity. Also all the commodities are really economic to purchase. 5
Good range of very fresh vegetables at competitive prices, staff are friendly and willing to help as well. This is not exactly close to me, but always happy to go when I can. Please keep the good work up
Too early to say as they been up for less than a month. They seem to have a number of stuff however they are very much favouring the university student selection with plenty on instant noodles. Pricewise is a little above the others however I am sure that this shop will find its way.
Earnestly I wish them the best of luck.
Food and vegetables are nice, staff are not. As a non-asian customer when I purchased vegetables the lady at the cashier didn't look at, or acknowledge me beyond scanning the vegetables, didn't even say a single word, but happily greeted a Chinese customer that walked into the store. Although I understand the main demographic of customers is Chinese, the rudeness towards me as a non-asian customer was blatant. Until the staff have an attitude fix towards non-chinese customers, I probably won't visit here again, unfortunately.
Quite new store in the new Burwood Brickworks shopping centre. Typical Australian shopping centre, Asian supermarket. Good range of products with a very large range of Ramen noodle meals, presumably for the student market although I am partial to some of them myself. Nicely laid out and brightly lit, although I found the shelving a bit close together and it was hard to see things on the very bottom shelves as well as the topmost shelves. Also had to squeeze past people a few times to get past them. Range of vegies and fresh and frozen foods. Some really interesting looking ice creams in unusual flavours as well, like Durian for instance. Prices seem to be higher than Springvale or Box Hill where there is heaps of competition.
