60Very well kept, clean and recliner chairs for EVERYONE! This feels like a South-East well kept secret. Don't go to Eastland or Knox, head straight to Forest Hill!
Better than Gold Class Cinema as Hoyt's Theatre has the comfortable seating in all their cinemas at no extra cost.
You can even have a drink that is at better prices than Gold Class.
This is at Forrest Hills. Staff are great and very friendly towards us oldies.
Always an enjoyable day out.
I love Forrest Hill cinemas. The reclining lounge seats are very comfortable. A good film in a comfortable cinema with no parking problems is just the ticket.
I go to movies every week and always prefer coming to the Forest Hill Hoyts. The tickets are $15 per movie and $11.25 if you’re a VIP member. You can also collect points if you scan the barcode everytime you book your tickets.
Seats are very comfortable and lots of snack options available.
Needed someone to scan my ticket before the movie and was not approached at all. I waited there because there was a sign that told me to. I saw a lady walk past and asked her if she could help me but she rudely shut me down and told me to go ask someone else. She was not apologetic and acted like I was inconveniencing her by asking her a little question. Didn’t get her name but I just know she’s not a fun person to be around. It occurred on the 10/02/22 at around 9: 35 pm if you want to check the cameras as to who it was.
Okay silly complaint.chairs were too comfortable!
Hot outside and cinema was an oasis of dark, comfort and coolness.slept through most of the movie.now I'll have to try again!
Good cinema with modern facilities. However, the staff were not very helpful after checking our tickets. Not showing which cinema, not providing 3D glasses unless we asked.
We go to the movies a lot, and we'll always try to come to this Hoyts specifically because the cinemas are always clean, the seats are comfy, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The manager has an eager-to-please attitude and always greets us with a smile, she is absolutely lovely.
Good to go for cheap price movie, but theatre is very run down, surface of seats all peeling off, no one cleaned the cinema prior to our session, we had to move our seats due to rubbish all over the place.
Probably the most friendly staff in any theater I've been to. Cleaning in the theater isn't all that high a standard. Messy, more than dirty
I'm a great fan of Hoyts. No parking problems or fees. Very helpful staff and very comfy chairs, not to mention great prices
Great experience. Attentive customer service. Some leather seating requires updating. Otherwise enjoyed the movie session.
Love this cinema, even though it's always been the poor cousin compared to other hoyts cinemas. All seats are recliners, friendly service with easy self-serve kiosks out front.
Not the most flash of its cinemas, but Forest Hill is still great. All cinemas have recliner seats - some looking a bit worse for wear after all these years. Self-serve kiosks are easy to use, friendly staff and lots of fun. Lux is heaps better than Village Gold Class - better choice of food and complimentary small popcorn and soft drink with every lux ticket.
Easy to find parking and enter the cinema pretty quick. Their cinema theatre, at least the one we went to, Cinema 1, has full reclining comfortable seats with no obstruction what so ever. However, im not sure about their sound system, could be improved. Great experience nether the less.
Probably the most friendly staff in any theater I've been to. Cleaning in the theater isn't all that high a standard. Messy, more than dirty
Loved the Forest Hill Hoyts. Its nicely refurbished with reclining seats and offer good ticket prices. Worth joining the VIP to get 25% ticket discounts and 10% off the food and free popcorn refills.
Beyond hoyts' control but in recent visits I have experienced someone purchasing tickets for separate seats and then demanding you to swap seats with them. And having tickets in the middle of a row of young children whilst the group of parents sat in the row behind and not supervise them.
Love watching a movie at Forest Hill. Great prices for the movie (but still expensive or I guess standard for the snacks).
And always able to get parking at forest hill which is a bonus.
The facilities in the cinemas are great - chairs recline and are very comfortable (great for a quick snooze while watching a movie with the kids). As
