Hard to recommend this restaurant especially considering the price increase and small portions.

The gheymeh was super oily.
The kashk e bademjoon was so cold, almost like they forgot to microwave it before serving it to us.
The kebab was good but the portions are tiny. Keep in mind, any Persian dad can whip up a good kebab in 30 minutes, so I'm not really impressed with paying nearly $30 for the same quality kebabs as my dad makes at home.

Not once we're we approached by the guy to see if our meal was good or if we wanted anything else.

Wouldn't recommend this to anyone wanting to try Persian food. I've had better lite and easy microwave meals.

I know what persian food is, this did not taste like persian food, we ordered meat and cheese and spinach patty, meat portions were small and dry, and Pattie’s were apparently filled with mashed potato. The place is small but welcoming though.

Food was good but coffee machine was not on so no coffee - quite a few items on the menu were not available - and we were charged $15 corkage on a $7 bottle of wine!

We stop by here every time we are in Geelong. The food is simply divine and the service is very friendly. Reasonable prices. See you again next time!

One of the poorest quality foods and services I have ever had! They asked us to wait 20-30 minutes for the takeaway food to be ready; we ended up 40 minutes awaiting for a less salty/ tasty food without any spoon, fork, tissue papers…

Food was great, as others have mentioned, but the dining area restaurant is freezing cold. On the night we visited, ALL the patrons in the restaurant had their coats, jackets, and scarves on: -/

House Persia is a great place for some delicious juicy kebabs with persian bread or rice options to have along.
The Soltani kebab is a good option with chicken, lamb and minced lamb kebabs in one go

Friendly staff, very good quality meat, prices higher than Melb average prices, flavour above average

Lovely staff! We had dinner at a nearby restaurant during COVID dining restrictions and were kicked out at 9pm but not ready to head home. The lovely staff at this restaurant, who were cleaning and closing up, agreed to have our group of 6 in for drinks and ice-cream. Thank you VERY much! You didn't need to stay open just for us but you went out of your way to accommodate us. We will be back for a meal soon!

My second awful experience especially regarding the service and staff.you feel you have been ignored by angry staff who hate what they are doing as their own job.as an Iranian, the Kobide kebab was so-so not tasty (FYI, I am a great cook). But the worst part was when they excluded the grilled tomato and when I asked them about it, they gave me the funniest reason (indeed, they cheated here). Then, the time to serve dessert, they just threw it in front of me and my friends on a table and there was no space at all but just full of empty plates.she was angry and did not say a word.she did not care to put them in front of the people who ordered them, just randomly put them next to empty plates and left!? I would never ever get back there and never ever advise anyone to go there especially my Iranian friends.
And now based on their reckless commnets and offence, you people should never go there.

Had dinner here for the 1st time, and the food was amazing! Cant wait to go back again and try more. Most highly reccomend

Delicious, fresh & lovely staff/owners. Take away options due to covid are great. Beautiful Persian food & desserts. Parking behind & frontage on pakington street. Looking forward to dining in once restrictions lift & the world can breathe again.

Great place! Visited today and tried the lamb, chicken and falafel, all amazing! Cant wait to visit again. Very friendly staff as well.

Its curry taste strongly like beens however there was no bean in it

How the plate for two is more expensive than ordering two sultani kebab?
Usually plate for two is abit cheeper!
