I absolutely loved my skin consultation with Maxine. She was so thorough and provided a lot of information. The clinic is so calming and relaxing. Can’t wait to come back and have a facial!

I should have reviewed the team at house of Maxx long ago because in the 4 years since I first visited them, it’s still to this day the best facial experience I’ve had! The team really ensure you’re super relaxed and comfortable throughout your stay. Small touches like a comfy heated bed and fluffy doona really add to the experience. Not to mention, they also ensure to use products on your neck and chest - super important skin. The products they use are so good. Can’t recommend enough. Just wish they had a clinic closer to me up north bow!

Both maxine and Makayla are honestly amazing. I have been treated by both of them and my skin is the best it has ever been. My skin has improved drastically since Makayla changed all my skin care. I will only ever use what the girls at house of max recommend. I would not go anywhere else to get a facial, brows done or eyelashes done.

I found the staff quite rude, and they really push you to buy their products. They insult any other form of skincare approach. The lashes I had done were way too high, so they touched my upper eyelid even though I specifically asked for a subtle lift, they were also skewed.
Cue the "we don't have your name in the system" response - always the go to for when places receive negative reviews unfortunately.

I’ve had online consultations with Makayla and she’s been nothing but amazing! I met her a few years back and was astounded by her knowledge and at such a young age, she encourages others to grow with her which I appreciate. Thank you for your help always xx

Very overpriced, nothing particularly new or exciting about their facials. $200+ for basic facials. No facial massage or anything to work product in except for a gua sha for 2min that you can barely feel.

HOM is the first skin clinic I have been to that I feel really cares about all of their clients and treats them as individuals. Their knowledge is second-to-none. I have learnt so much about skin, the root cause of skin issues and my overall health. They empower their clients and provide so much support. They also align with my values of sustainability, cruelty free and vegan friendly. I would highly recommend!

I reached out to HOM from interstate as I desperately needed help with not only my skin condition but my gut health was so poor I was so drained. I cannot thank Makayla and Jenny ENOUGH. I am forever grateful for not only the support that I got through my journey but the education I now have for life! It was really eye opening and I cannot recommend HOM enough. FIRST of all let me just say. Nothing but pure class walking into this salon. I'm incredibly fussy with my brows, because they are the first thing I see when I look at in the mirror. Makayla made my brows better than ever, immaculate I would even say!

The staff have been phenomenal in my journey, not only helping me on my outside, but also caring for my inside. They are the most kind, genuine, honest, and passionate people I've ever met in this industry. The treatments are amazing, the product are superb, and the advice is second to none. If you're looking to make a positive and lasting change in your life, HOM is definitely the place to start.

Extremely judgment staff who insult dermatologists and their approach to skincare even though they’re clearly highly educated in dermatology. Facials are overpriced for what they are - basically using the same skincare you have at home just in clinic for $200+. Environment isn’t very relaxing as you can hear everything that’s going on outside the room. I had my lashes done and Makalya failed to explain the procedure at all. She put the solution on and left for 10min and came back and just started again - not explaining anything as she was going which was kind of terrifying when you have your eyes shut and can’t see anything for so long.
There are much better salons that actually care about their clients and provide a welcoming environment with no judgement. Such as little company for example.

In terms of leaving - you did in fact leave while the lash lift was processing. Twice. And failed to communicate this. Sorry if you’re offended, just the truth. I was very nervous as it was my first time and that didn’t help.

I have been treated by both Makayla and Maxine. My skin issues have improved dramatically from their treatments and products. Their facial treatment are amazing and they put alot ofcare and effort into their patients. Highly recommend

I had an eyelash lift + tint and wow, obsessed! Makayla is so professional and warm. Highly recommend. I also love that they are low tox and sustainable!

Maxine has been absolutely incredible in providing education surrounding customised skincare and treatments. I really appreciate that the main focus is skin health and nutrition and where nothing is rushed. All treatments are carefully considered and are implemented when it is suitable for you. Such a relief to know you can put your trust is someone who you can really tell cares about each clients need.

The facials are incredible and so relaxing, I definitely look forward continuing my skincare journey with HOM and cannot recommend Maxine highly enough.
