I think this place has new owners? They are very friendly and hospitable just like the last owners. Service and products are still maintained to its highest standard. Best local bakery in Craigieburn, keep up the great work!

Don't know what's happened to this place recently, but the sausage rolls are old, not flakey at all with a mushie, cold interior.

Pastries taste days old, cream is stale and you can taste the refrigerator items it was stored with in each bite. Cakes are dry and flavourless. Such a shame, I used to call this place my local, no longer.

Hothlyn backery: An amazing backery that contains so many amazing different sweets and deserts. And you can't forget about the hot and tasty pies, sandwiches and pizza there are so much more delitful treats at hothlyn backery but I don't want to spoil it for you.

The pies and food here all always fresh. I drop in to this bakery every morning for breakfast and coffee and they never disappoint. Keep up the good work

Working as a trades person going from one location to another I have tried many different pies from all over Victoria and honestly no other pie comes close to the amazing pies this business makes. I will definitely take a few friends to show them what I have found.thanks Hothlyn Bakers

I just had my son's 5th birthday and me being a very unorganised mum left the cake late, but the ladies still let me place an order and was happy to make a beautiful Pokemon cake. It was a chocolate mud cake and it was delicious! So moist, all the kids loved it and so did the parents! We even had one very fussy child who is very fussy about his cakes absolutely loved it!

My favourite is the vegetable pasties and sausage roll. The almond biscuits are deliscous too. The staff are very friendly too

Most amazing pies and fabulous tasting boreks. My favourite is the eggplant borek and the shepherds pie. The cakes are also divine. And not to mention their ciabatta bread. I travel 25 min twice a week to this bakery.

A fantastic bakery with lovely friendly staff and this bakery is the best in Melbourne. Even their coffee is good. Very good prices as well. Their pies are just so good! Well done guys for consistent good quality food and service!

It used to be much better than it is now. Going downwards, unfortunately. Found some borek quite off, acid indeed, and we had to throw them away after unfortunately having already served it to some guests.
Pastries are also not on the same level. And service gone down very much too, with an arrogant and quite rude girl, constantly forgetting what you order, giving you differently from what ordered and even implicitly saying you're a liar when you politely report that something was not fresh, even not requesting any refund. Let's hope that the owners understand this and quickly regain control. It would otherwise be a real loss for Craigieburn and the locals.

I love everything about this place, the food is fresh and tasty! The staff are very friendly, would definatly recommend the boreks very yummy, keep up the great work guys.

I have lived in Craigieburn for almost 6 years, and I have been using them every time I need to get a cake. Think Cake, think Hotlyn Bakery haha!

Our production cast stopped in to get lunch during our rehearsal. We have one student in a wheelchair who was not able to get in to the bakery as there is a small step at the entrance. I politely mentioned this to the staff and asked if they could bring up my concern with the boss.
After I walked out the front, a number of my students were still inside and overheard the staff remarking rudely that we should just pick up the wheelchair (300kgs by the way).
I'm very disappointed at the way this has been handled and the discrimination that our student has faced. A little empathy goes a long way.
We made sure that he was able to buy what he wanted, it just would have been nice if we could have enjoyed this outing without the poor attitude of the staff.

The only bakery I will go to even if I have to travel 20mins and pass through 5 bakeries on my way there. Friendly staff, reasonably priced and will always do my cake request for a good price. Pies are nice as well!
