10It was not good time to visit this place. The weather was chilly and it’s almost winter here. Further the time was quite odd in the evening.
A great beach that is easily accessible from Beach Road without having to navigate cliffs and steps.
There is limited car parking there and obviously on hot days it fills up quiet fast.
Nice sandy beach and easy access to the water which is fairly shallow.
I like going there in the evening about an hour before dusk.
At the entrance on the north side there are fresh water showers to wash down as you exit the beach.
Brilliant access from car parking to the clean, wide beach, with a continuous path for pedestrians and cyclists through the foreshore landscaping.
Always a delightful spot. Awesome place to walk & Great area to escape & watch the waves crash in & go out again.
It was beautiful! I love the beach and this site is great for waking on the board walk or just chilling in the sun.
Beautiful beach, warm water, great weather and great for sailing. I had a great time at this beach and would recommend it to anyone nearby.
A rainy evening as lockdown ended. We sat in the car and enjoyed food from Tommy Ruff, the rain, the view, and conversation.
It was an overcast day during this detour, not a planned destination, but I’m certain this spot would make for great family day at the beach. A few parking areas allocated within the area but being a busy street I can imagine the parking hassle during hot summer days when the beach is full.

I have been living in the neighbourhood for 3 decades, Mordi beach has been an excellent choice in summer, water is not that clear, but otherwise surrounded by several bars, many shops, Woolworths, bus stops Train station, boat hire, pokies and many more. Downside that Parking are not enough and part of beach road lanes dedicated for bicycle use on the weekend which is annoying.
