Brilliant atmosphere and super friendly staff. The beer selection is possibly the best on the riverside and the atmosphere is a great balance of cashed up and chill. Out of the many places to grab a bevvy along the riverside strip this is up there in the top five. It's not the cheapest but if you're drinking in southbank then you probably don't care about that. Quality vibes and quality people. Will be back.

Huge bar with great beers on tap, and a fairly decent food selection that is delicious for the price. I had the big boy Delux with a pint of upside down Brown. Can't go wrong!

Seating both inside under shelter, and out the front where you can watch the boats go up and down the river.

Waited 40 minutes for two coffees after they lost our order. We requested that they check our order multiple times. Waste of time.

Considering how busy they were, the food came out quicker than I expected. Had the lamb kebab, bread was good but the lamb was luke warm at best. Also had to wait in line for 20mins to place an order. If you are planning a family meal here, I would avoid peak times. Also the kids menu is limited and for some reason they went with a more abstract chicken nugget than fussy children would perhaps appreciate/recognise.

Great variety of craft beers, Crankshaft IPA was awesome.

Fairly trendy riverside bar. Huge gin vat to get in on the Victorian gin distillation industry. Excellent bartenders and excellent drinks.

Always good service and great drinks. With loud music and big tables, it's a fantastic place for groups, or for a catch up after work! Food is a little bit on the pricey side but it's still good

After trying to find a proper beer place for ever, we finally ended up here! This is first place (for us) in Australia that understands what we mean when we ask for imperial stout or imperial porter, or sour beer. Good, honest and beer knowing personnel. I rather pay 10 aud for a good schooner here than 10 aud for a regular pale ale elsewhere.

Always enjoyable. My fiancé and I love ordering from the small plates menu and getting a couple flights of beers. The service is typically great and there has been live music every time we’ve gone.

We were a group of 34 that held a reunion at the Hopscotch on Saturday night. The night was awesome and we couldn’t really fault a thing; the area allocated us, the food (we chose a platter selection) which just kept on coming, and finally the service we received through the night.
I live in NZ and made arrangements from here. Our group came from WA, QLD, NSW, NZ and of course VIC. So a great big thank you to Kat and Janae for putting this event together for us. And a very special thank you from all of us to Larissa who was assigned to look after our group. You were absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend the Hopscotch

Great range of alcohol and bar snacks, interesting fusion lunch menu, quite a few vegan and vegetarian options, limited choices for certain allergies, don't expect the salads to actually be light/low calorie

Nice bartender, drink prices and a clean and tidy bathroom. I will be back for sure! Also great views and atmousphere!

Walked in sat down at a table, waiting staff saw us sitting there for 30 minutes no one bothered to give us a menu or acknowledged us. Got a menu ourselves and still no service. Walked out

Nice bar on the river. Sat in the lane way next to it with a bowl of chips and spring roll cheeseburgers. Interesting combination but very tasty. Top it off with a nice selection of beers.

I visited the shop on my vacation in Melbourne, asked vodka with lemon juice and it was the worst drink I've ever tasted.

An excellent selection of beers on tap, a great complimentary menu, wonderful location, good staff, fair prices. What's not to love. Highly recommended.

This is well situated pub with nice view, the prices for burgers are bit on the steep side but the food is decent. Interesting menu great beer and cocktail selection, most staff friendly and helpful, bartender was a bit salty.over all I would go there again

Had a great time here! The food and beer was amazing! Also, the waitress Lisa was so cheerful it made the evening perfect!
