Hoppers Crossing Secondary College reviews
10 Most mid experience i have ever experienced, and would not ever recommend going into the bathrooms at all due to the absolute sheer numbers of teen vaping and shady underground shenanigans that goes on in there, involving students from the senior year levels right down to the new year 7 students.as a former student, i would highly urge that something has to be done to curb these delinquent activities.the bathrooms are meant to be a place to naturally empty your bodily wastes in, and not a place for 50 children to stand around in passing an electronic device that produces fruity flavoured air with those sweet, sweet hints of lung-degrading chemicals.it has been far too often too many times that myself and other genuinely innocent bathroom users have suffered the consequences of these repeat offenders misusing the bathrooms, that we either:
1) end up waiting for an unnecessarily long amount of time just to use a public space that should only take less than 2 or 5 minutes (depending on the type of bodily function that is needing to take place)
2) that we don't end up going to the bathroom at all, or in a very few instances in my own experiences;
3) shove my way through all the people standing in the doorway and taking up any and all physical space possible in the bathroom
please, for the sake of the next coming generations of students, do something to stop this from ever happening again.womp womp
School was ok. Probably 2-3 eshays (however tf you spell it) that try to jump you per day. Idk, bathrooms are also pretty mid. Some guy once walked out with a stall door, also like last week or something 2 guys were doing some sus things in the same stall. Won't go into much detail, but hands were on the ground. The only good teachers have left the school. English. I met 3 really cool people there, idk about the rest, haven't been able to rate the other thousand or so people yet
Decent school. I didnt get shanked but everyone else did. I moved 2500km to get away from this school
Hoppers crossing secondary college is the best school in the area.the teachers do a fantastic job and the principal also do a fantastic job
Very hard working Administration and caring teachers. Well led by the current Principal and Assistant Principals
My mum says that the students at this school do a lot of drugs and that teachers don't do anything about bullying. Also it is a horrible school. But how would I know, I don't even go to this school
Your experience here will vary greatly depending on the teachers you interact with.
Some teachers are an absolute godsend — they can teach you proper study habits, help set realistic goals, and frankly make the most dry coursework entertaining. I can guarantee that a select few, mostly the senior science team from '14-'16, was pretty much life-changing.
Some other teachers will give a homeless student a detention for being out of uniform.
I was a student here from 2013-2016, Year 7 to Year 10. I give it a 3 because as much as I hated the place, I certainly did meet some good people, teachers and aides during my time here.
However almost right from the start I had problems with the administration, particularly the former principal, Wayne Terrill. I did get along with David Harding (who I hear has also left), but a majority of the rest were always combative and hard to deal with. I always got the sense from Terrill and the rest of the admin, that they wanted the place to be ran like a private school.
That sense was realised in 2015, when the school axed their Automotive Room. From there on I absolutely hated the administration, and spent the majority of my last year there, 2016, dealing with them as little as possible. I have also heard since leaving that they axed the Engineering Room and sacked the much loved teacher who ran it, Stephen Wood. So it certainly seems as if the school is heading further and further towards being more academically minded than trade minded.
I can't speak for the school now, as I'm no longer there and everyone I knew and still speak to from there (bar teachers and aides) were Year 12's who have since also left. All I can say is my time there was filled with ups and downs. As for you, you decide whether or not you want to go there.
Eh, it's alright. Teachers are great, subjects are okay (besides Math) and most of us students tend to get along with one another. All in all, good school.
About 2 years ago i was told that i'mn not in zone for this school and so i wasn't expected itno.imagine my surprise when i found out i'm now in zone for this school.this school has a lot stuff that i'm looking for such as exchange student trips and activities.furthermore i would like to ask if i'm able to transfer schools before 2017
