The team at Hope Dermatology are amazing from the medical team through to the team that deal with me 3 days a week for light treatment.
I couldn't ask for a more helpful supportive and professional group.

This place is the BEST! It took my Dad to drive from here to over Hope dermatology more than an hour and the team is SO NICE! SHOUT OUT TO SARAH AND JASMINE WHO HELPED ME TAKE OUT THE RED DOT NEAR MY EYE! I AM DEFINITELY COMING AGAIN.

Been coming here for 9 months. Once you've waited a consistent 15-30 mins for an appointment, you're rushed out before you can notice they've prescribed you the wrong amounts.

It's happened twice. She meant to give me 1 year, but only gave me enough for 8 months.

Their solution? "Just book more appointments. "

I'm convinced the doctor I saw does everything to milk more appointments from patients at the expense of time and money.

1. Prescribe small doses (which my pharmacists laughingly claim were a "waste to compound")
2. Give you minimal repeats so you're forced to go in every few months
3. "Specialists" which can't answer basic questions about the medicine - and have to book useless follow-up tele-health appointments

I'm done wasting my time here.

Edit: I should add reception is great. Unfortunately the doctors aren't.

I have been to see Hope and her team several times and I always find them extremely professional and lovely. Hope is very easy to talk to and is a greater listener. I have the utmost confidence in her and her staff. I would be very happy to recommend Hope to my family and friends.

Hope was amazing. She was very thorough and provided me with plenty of reading material as well as medication, so I can educate myself on my dermatitis. The girls at Reception are friendly and polite which made my experience at Hope Dermatology a relaxing and positive one.

Receptionist staff were friendly and welcoming upon my first arrival. Saw Dr Sarah Shen, very professional Dr, went through everything very thoroughly. Recommended coming to Hope Dermatology.

This was my visit to Hope, the reception staff were helpful and friendly, the dermatologist I saw was Dr Mulchay she was lovely and helped a lot with my treatment for my dermatitis I would highly recommend the clinic for help with any skin conditions or other issues

Dr. Hope is nice however she misdiagnosed me and treated me for something else (for months) that I didn't have which caused further delay of treatment. Whilst on new meds I was not given much guidance on diet as the meds interact with certain foods. I tried to organise another appointment so ai coul speak to Dr Hope. The receptionist tells me that that's no appointment available so I could have a phone appointment instead which I agreed to. I never got the call so I rung the next day to follow up and the same receptionist says she tried to call me which never happened. I ask her to find a date so I can talk to Dr Hope and receptionist says "let me ring you back" that didn't happen either. I called every day for two weeks for the receptionist to not do her job. I ended seeing a gp.

Fast foward two months later, I'm suppose to have a follow up next week. I call to reschedule and the receptionist tells me that I must pay a fee for missing my last appointment.

NO NO NO! IM NOT PAYING HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS for:
1. A misdiagnosis (no apology either) /delayed treatment
2. No follow up or guidance with new diets for new medication
3. Reception REFUSING to do their job properly ie organise a phone appointment as to a person appointment
4. Reception refusing to own up to their mistakes which would have had to come out of my pocket.
5. I will look into making a formal complaint, not a good or satisfied with this experience at all!

Hope Dermatology has helped my daughters I over the years and has been so helpful in identifying and treating our eczema. After trying so many dermatologists it was great to find someone who is some through and comprehensive in their care.

Absolutely butchered a bcc removal on my arm. Severed an artery along the way and laughed about it at the time. Now have a gaping great hole where she left her mark. I’ve had many removed by my local GP with barely a sign anything was ever done.

I wouldn’t recommend this clinic at all, I went for a consultation of facial acne, the doctor didn’t even come close to my face to see what was happening, I was explaining her what I was concerned about and she didn’t even let me finish, the appointment took like 5 minutes and at the end all she said was, you are using the wrong products, stop using them and use this ones and if it doesn’t work I’ll see you in three months to see what else could help.
I was hoping from her to went through the problem deeper not just look at me front her chair and didn’t even check my skin, so in my opinion is even better to go to a general doctor that to spend so much money for a consultation of 5 minutes and don’t even feel they worth.

I attended the clinic recently and received a much needed facial, after having a baby, from the beautiful Jasmina. They were so accommodating with me as I had bubs and a pram with me and moved me to a downstairs room. My experience was calm, relaxing and rejuvenating and the staff were all very kind. I have already made another booking. Highly recommend!

I would recommend looking for a different Dermatology clinic.

The two dermatologists that I saw, Dr Higgins assisted by Dr Dinh were lovely and seemed knowledgeable.

The other staff and Practice Manager however were rude and treated me badly.

I reached out to them to let them know about my poor experiences and they did not acknowledge what happened at all. I understand these are hard times however, it was not an excuse for how the staff treated me.

The Practice Manager is rude and dismissive as can be seen in some of their response to other low reviews here.

Depends what you are okay with. Ultimately it wasn't worth the treatment I experienced, to not simply go elsewhere. I recommend DIV. They have been great so far.

Update: In the reply below (likely the Practice Manager) advises they offered another appointment 'soon after' which I didn't accept. (notice still no acknowledgement of how they treated me).

I was treated poorly by them on a prior occasion too but on this particular one the practice manager was rude on the phone, when I called up PRIOR to my appointment to let them know I couldn't make it due to an unforeseen circumstance. They then lectured to me about how farther away the next appointment was and making their frustration at rebooking known. I accepted as I felt uncomfortable.

Later I reached out, advising of both that and an earlier negative experience and not only got no acknowledgement of my experiences but received assumptions as to why customer service was rude. So no apology for being yelled at by a receptionist (who was later incorrect it turned out) but also then excuses.

I felt uncomfortable after that response so only then did I request to cancel the rebooked appointment. They then specifically offered to pass my information on from my previous appointment. When I said yes please to the offer, they then replied stating that that was not possible (?). After that odd interaction, I wrote my review.

Pretty disappointed with the services that I got. Arrived and had a 25 minutes wait despite making a booking. Overall, did not feel that I had a thorough consultation and was charged 273 for nothing. Would not go back again
