Hop Nation Brewing Co. reviews
38No longer dog friendly. Were not helpful with any alternate options, but that is their choice, I suppose. Lesson learned - can't trust reviews any older than a few months.
Very friendly bar with an excellent selection of beers. 15 on tap plus additional choices in cans. If you're a bit peckish they have a couple of toasties, pies, sausage rolls, potato chips and nuts. Well worth a visit
Now they've had a glow up. It's all a bit fancy, but still friendly and now with pizzas
I love the range on non alcoholic beers from hop nation but the stand out was definitely the pizza from Good Pizza. The square pizza with vodka sauce is divine. Can’t wait to go back and try some other pizzas!
Thanks Hop Nation for sponsoring the movie Strays @The Sun Theatre. This is Jovi and she LOVES your dog beer
As always delicious beers on tap and in cans, no guest tap that I saw but still lots of different things for everyone. Pies are beautiful too!
Great place to try great beer. Footscray’s own craft brewery. About twenty taps of their own beer. The venue itself is relaxed but comfortable. Food is from a food truck onsite. And it’s dog friendly too.
Great place to spend some time.
We’re locals and love Hop Nation…. If you haven’t been here, here’s why. These guys keep it simple except for their beer, which is all craft. During COVID they kept their door open and sold us sad sacks take away beer and wine to get us through, along with great merch to keep us warm and happy, and now post the apocalypse they are raring, upgrading their offer and raiding their creative spirit. We popped by last weekend and found they were holding a Russian stout festival - of course they were! Rich, winter warming deep stouts - I tried the bourbon informed version. Love your work guys!
Great brewery, but not ideally located, and they need to update their opening hours. After catching the train and then trekking down from Seddon station, I was told they were closing at 8pm on Fridays, not 10pm.
Edit: Hours are updated, thanks.
Love the vibe here. Delicious variety of beers on offer. Definitely mine and hubby's new favourite hangout
Great service, awesome beer.did the tasting platter first and went on from there.
Steak and cheese pie was. Nice ambiance too. Would highly recommend
Beers speak for themselves, coming from Perth this was on the craft beer hitlist long beforewe came over. If you're hungry they have pies on offer. Staff were friendly.
Great brewery out west. Even though it’s a bit tucked away in the industrial lanes, it’s worth a visit. They’re dog friendly and super accomodating. All the staff are super friendly, get to know you (and your doggos) by name and always try to fit you in somehow. Amazing beer selection and take away options! We’re regulars and can highly recommend to everyone!
It's like walking into your mates place. The staff take the time to learn your name and treat you like one of the fam!
And well the beer. Yup its gooood!
A really good selection of beers and really friendly and accomodating staff. We didn't book, but they still managed to arrange some seating upstairs for us. The House Tasting Paddle was particularly good, with some definite favourites on there already. It can be quite difficult to find down a side alley, but this only adds to the style. Would highly recommend the Mango Gose!
This is just about their beer, haven't had the chance to visit. Bought some NEIPA that poured like a light pale ale, but tasted fine. Gave them a call, they checked on the batch and got back to me to explain it was flocculation. Without prompting they were asking for my postal address to send some replacements, even though the beers tasted fine, just not properly hazy as a NEIPA should be. Awesome beer and stellar customer support. Absolutely one of the best brewery's in Aus.
Best beers in the west. J-Juice all day long. Limited food options, chips and pies, Uber eats solves that problem.
Hidden down an industrial lane this brewery offers a wide selection of brews, wines and gin. Friendly service and a gorgeous high timbered ceiling are standouts. Worth searching for.
A great place to try really interesting craft beers.
A 10 minute walk from Footscray station!
Best beers in the west. J-Juice all day long. Not much food options, Uber eats solves that problem
The beer is great and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Overall, the setting is really nice and relaxed. (Pictured is the Tan Line, a passionfruit and mint sour).
