There is no doubt that Hong’s dumpling is the best shanghainese dumpling restaurant in the town. I’ve found no other places are even close. The flavor of signature pan fried pork dumplings is authentic. You can tell by seeing a lot of shanghainese going there. Be careful that when you bite the dumplings, it would burst with soup. And that’s how you know you are having good dumplings!
edit: saw some people left one star because Hong’s dumplings used MSG. Well, that’s the traditional way to make dumplings. If you have problems with that, go and have westernized ones.

Ignore Maureen’s foolish 1 star review, this place is great. Only open 3 days a week and always has a queue, speaks for itself.
