Honey Pastry Melbourne (شیرینی سرای عسل) reviews
22Always tasty and fresh thats why i love it, i bought a birthday cake, everyone's love it
It was not an acceptable experience.
When we asked for the fresher ones we had been treated such a bad behavior.having bought we found half of them not fresh!
I don't recommend this store to others when they don't respect the customer rights.
The dessert here is good. Liked it because it is not too sweet. My favourite is the Cashew and the Coffee. As for the other flavours, I'd hope if the flavour would be more prominent like the Pistachio.
This sweet shop does not have any small cream cake (piece of cake) and the owner of the shop does not know any other sweet except for two types of Iranian sweets (roulette and cream), as if he has never been to Iran. When we asked him about the sweets, he said look at the monitor! Anyway, it was a very bad experience and I do not recommend this sweet shop to anyone, it was more of a joke.
This is by far the best persian confectionery shop in Melbourne. Love it every time we buy sweets from this shop. Always fresh and top quality. Highly recommended.
I have bought from Honey Pastry in Doncaster three times and must say the products are absolutely delicious and service excellent. Highly recommended.
I've only just discovered this place and OMG.so delicious. Beautiful sweets and a very kind gentleman happy to explain what each different pastry is.have already gone back and will continue to do so!
I’m a permanent customer for about 7 years.
Quality, Freshness, real taste of true Persian pastry and professional service have been always the same.
All types of sweets and their ingredients, perfectly matches with my childhood memories.
Highly recommended this place.
I wish i could give 10 star.
I was away from Melbourne for 10 months and this shop was one of 3 shops in Melbourne which i really missed.
With First step in the shop you will feel the difference
The owner is my favourite
He's always welcoming with smile
The sweets are the best quality
Highly recommended
The sweet was not the quality as described. This sort of things happen everywhere but when I talked to them about this experience, the owner rudely replied to me. I was shocked by his reaction and walked away and decided not to go back them again.
One day I was driving up there to go buy something then I felt the smell of baked sweets all over the road then suddenly I stopped the car and made a Uturn and I kept smelling the scent so followed it up to the shop but it was nothing to compare in inside! A dream and beautiful smell of sweets that you can't even find back home! Then a Gentleman who owned the place when saw me and heard the story offered me a some sweet which was incredible and unbelievable taste so I bought few kilos sweets that day and I'll go back there to buy more
Asal in my eyes in the best place to taste the real persian style cookies, cakes and baghlavas.
The products are always very fresh and well prices. I can't passed by the area without visiting their shop
Highly recommended!
Delicious, totally fabulous and an exotic experience for foodies. Go there to enjoy enchanting Middle Eastern range of sweet delicacies
The best Persian confectionery in Melbourne, with wonderful customer service, great service and the best quality. Thumbs up!
The beautiful smell of the fresh pastry mesmerised my children into the store earlier today and the manager welcomed my kids with the up-most respect and the pastry was beautiful.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed at my first (and last) visit to this place. The staff were nice and respectful, however, most of the sweets I bought were not fresh, which is probably because of Covid19 situation, but why would they make too much sweets to surpass demands? They had a huge range of sweets on display which made me wonder whether they'd be fresh. I decided to remain optimistic and bought a range of sweets, pastry, and nuts. I had to throw away more than half the sweets because they tasted funny, the pastry tasted alright but were soggy, and even the pistachios were not dry and crunchy. Unfortunately my excitement of having found a Persian pastry shop didn't last long: (
At their fairly high prices, I did not get what I expected.
The best Persian pastry in Melbourne! Yummy and fresh sweets plus super friendly staff! Highly recommended!
Great spot for all sorts of pastry and sweets.
Highly generous with reasonable prices.
********
They charged me $14 for 595 gram of sweets that equates to $24 a kilo which makes this place the most expensive persian sweet shop in Melb. The quality and taste is very average and price constantly changing there is no consistency at all.
This place has the Worst customer service ever, rude person at the front counter and awful attitude, I won't go there anymore. Do not recommend.
