I usually do not post reviews but when the taste of food takes you back to your hometown, you must let people know. Absolutely loved everything we ordered (pavbhaji, chilli garlic noodles, cheese butter masala). Definitely ordering again. I think everyone should taste atleast one and support such yummy business during these difficult times. Cheers.
The food was actually good, much alike from the basic Indian restaurant and the staff was friendly
Pav bhaji & other food very much tasted like eating in Ahmedabad - you won't be disappointed for sure.
Bad pav bhaji i think it was not good that honest serve a pav bhaji. Moreover i ordered 2 pav bhaji but when i reached at my home i saw only one pav bhaji i called to honest but they said they serve 2 pav bhaji in only one 650 ml container and they serve 2 pulav in two different container. I think it was bad experience.test of both was not good.
About a week ago i ordered 3 dishes.
1 pao bhaji.was ok but lets justvsay i have had better. But not bad
2. Cheese chilly.the paneer in the dish was clearly not fresh at all.infact it had been fried and re-fried so many times that it had become leathery and was impossible to eat.
3. Aloo paranthas.if you make them in maida, pls dont call them paranthas.there is a reason why people order paranthas and not naan.
Wont try again.
The Pav bhaji was up to the mark, for that. But the other item ordered were pretty disappointing.
Good food, fast service, clean place, overall very happy with authentic Indian tease after long time in Melbourne. Good job ppl
I never write reviews but this one deserves all the appreciation. This place is worth every penny you spend. I have never tasted food that is 100% authentic indian street food in the last three years in Melbourne. The presentation, customer service, hygiene, quality and the taste, everything is top notch. Thumbs up to the entire team.
Loved the food.tried first time when they opened and been going thr ever since almost every weekend. Absolutely love their punjabi thaali, a must try for all authentic taste cravers. 10 on 10 service as well, never disappoints.
Mind blowing food.
I am crazy about street food, i already tried so many places in melbourne but unable to find any restaurant like hones.when i eat food in honest restaurant it was amazing.
The price of the food is very cheap and if we talk about quality and quantity of the food in that much price it is really good.
The manager of the restaurant is very nice.
Me and family love the place. In the busy time the service of the restaurant is fantabulous.
In the open kitchen the staff is enjoying their work and giving their best and wait staff is also really good.
The people who love the street food must visit the honest restaurant.
When you visit the restaurant you feel like you are in india and enjoying your family time.
Great service, fast food and taste is awesome. Friendly staff and unique dinning experience. Highly recommended
Food is really tasty and fresh and the staff are fantastic and very friendly! Each time I have tried something different and the food is always good. The manager is always friendly and is accommodating also. Highly recommend this place!
Generally I am not giving negative review but repeated issue with Honest, first time (3 weeks ago) when we called on phone no one answering & when we went there we got information restaurant is not running due to some plumbing issue & Last Friday evening when we gone there for dinner at around 7 PM & we ordered Punjabi Thali, but hotel manager denied to serve thali, he said we are very busy we cant serve thali today we were ready to wait for 30 minutes or more even though he wasn't ready to serve food, however no where mentioned that Punjabi thali not available in busy period or weekends, very poor behaviour & unprofessional. Not expecting such poor service with brand new restaurant.
Excellent food/ atmosphere, loved the customer service, friendly staff and the most important things is that I found the real authentic taste of my home town (ahmedabad). Moreover, the open kitchen thing is flawless. Furthermore, my overall experience is spectacular.
Pavbhaji has an excellent test, but in punjabi sabji it was fried tofu instead of paneer! Even asked three time but not ready to accept.
Well I have very mixed reviews
Pav bhaji and pizza was amazing and reminded me of Ahmedabad but sandwich, macaroni, Pani Puri was just very salty bland tasteless
Visited this place on a Public Holiday (my first visit). Place was busier than a Mumbai Local during peak hour. However, hats off to the staff. They were not flustered at-all. Extremely polite, courteous and fast service amidst the chaos around them. The food, is nearly as good as that in India. Big fan of their "bhakhri-pizza". Highly recommend for everyone to visit. I for one, will certainly be a frequent visitor now.
I went with my friends and i literally felt well spent evening like Ahmedabad. Loved food specially Bahubali sandwich. Atmosphere is good. Must visit place.
HONEST review for Honest restaurant.
It was amazing experience in restaurant.
Staf was toooo gooood and food was as expected.
If you are planning to go, must try DAHIPURI. ALL items we ordered was amazing and their test was superb.
Have to say 'GHAR KA KHANA'
