Terrible phone service woman who was unhelpful had poor communication, rude tone and defensive would not assist me for a rental enquiry

Kylie at HomeGround was really helpful and attentive with sorting out an extension to the periodic renting, and organised everything really quickly. Really appreciated the lengths that she went to to get everything organised. She is super friendly, understanding and approachable. Highly recommend.

Negotiation, issue resolution and due diligence prior to accepting new tenants (my current neighbours) words agency is unfamiliar with.
I experienced complete indifference, luck of understanding and ignorance from the agency.

As a tenant you'll need to have lots of patience for your calls to be returned or emails answered.

WORST AGENCY EVER

They do not take initiative to repair anything after several complaints. They are required to be chased for one proper discussion amd after that no steps are taken to resolve matters. Their manager Samantha will deny any onus of making things right

We have been living in our unit for 10 months and basic things like our stove, window heater intercom and lock have been broken but despite pestering and chasing the agency for months no one of the above issues have been resolved.

Trust me if you find a great house but it is being managed by HomeGround let the house go. It’s not worth dealing with the agents at this agency.

Very poor experience with HomeGround Real Estate. Severe lack of communication from the team. Misleading information from the agent advising application proceeding to next stage and then no communication at all from the agency. Try to avoid using HomeGround at all costs!

HomeGround Real Estate allows us to help our tenant experience safe and affordable housing. They do a great job managing our property, taking care of the building and the tenant equally, providing us with peace of mind that it is being done properly.

I recenty had the pleasure of selling a property with Simone from Home Ground Real Estate as my vendor advocate. Simone worked with me to select a suitable real estate agent and then worked collaboratively with the real estate agent throughout the sales campaign period. Simone offered open and honest advice, informed by her extensive experience in real estate, and kept me regularly updated through the whole process. Simone worked extremely hard, and as a result we achieved a fantastic auction result, well beyond expectations.

I am writing this review as a landlord who is currently renting out my property to HGRE. I have been with HGRE for almost a year now. I was recently informed that my current tenant had decided to move out. That said, the team at HGRE quickly popped my property back on the rental market, held several inspections, and was able to secure a new tenant for me within a month. The whole process was effortless! All I really had to do was say, "yes" or "no".:)

When I was first referred to HGRE by my friend, honestly, it was a "no brainer" decision because it's a not-for-profit business where the funds are reinvested back into the community via their mothership program, Launch Housing, and for me, giving back to the community is important (plus, what goes around, comes around right?). ;)

My first meeting/consultation with Simone went very smoothly. Not only is Simone very professional and experienced in the property management field, you can also tell she is extremely dedicated and really does care about her vendors/clients. After our first meeting, Simone assigned Nina as my Property Manager, and I must say, Nina has just been an absolute joy to deal with!:)

Nina is a beautiful soul and is always happy to answer my questions and concerns promptly, and always in a very professional yet friendly manner. She keeps me in the loop of any issues and knows exactly when to check in with me immediately for the "bigger" decisions (or emergency situations). She is simply AMAZING at what she does!

Having worked in the real estate industry before, I have a pretty good gauge on who the genuine people are, and from all my engagements with both Simone and Nina thus far, I can attest to them being people who have their client's and also tenant's best interests at heart.

I would highly recommend HGRE for landlords looking to rent out their property, especially those that want to "give back". Thanks again HGRE Team for all your hard work (including all the team members in the back office who sort out the paperwork, finances, marketing etc. You guys deserve a KUDOS too!) :)

Jaclyn and Simone have been a pleasure to deal with. Jaclyn managed to find a tenant for our flat even when the market was flooded with rentals and open for inspections were very limited due to COVID-19. She kept in regular contact with us to keep us informed as to how things were progressing and made sure all paperwork was delivered on time. It is fantastic to deal with such a professional agency and at the same time know we are supporting a community organisation operating social housing. Definitely a win-win!

Having been in real estate for now 30 years, I have worked with a lot of agents and quality agents and property managers are incredibly hard to find. Simone from Home Ground is exceptional. I refer all my investor clients to her because I know she will always give great service and that their property will be looked after like it is her own. Simone has extensive experience and has a really good team around her as well.

They all care more than other property managers and go that extra mile to ensure everything is absolutely spot on. I also love that they are not-for-profit and give back to the community so much. This is a true agency with heart and genuine community spirit.

I assisted Simone from Homeground with the sale of one her landlord's properties. Professional yes, but more importantly she's got her client's interests at heart!

Nina and Simone are incredible humans! We rented with HoneGround in 2019-2020 and they made it such a smooth process to rent, have any maintenance and move out (even in a pandemic)
