Had a quote straight away, came out to do the job within that week for us, two workers came out and did a great job, was not slapdash they took pride in what they did and worker hard, whole Patio was done in two days. Fully Recommended

Great communication on what the product is, and exactly what will be done, and what needs to happen prior to the day the work will be carried out. The work was professionally completed with care and attention to details. The two men who did the work were cheerful all the way through, taking pride in what they do; that was just amazing! I highly recommend them and will use them again for should I need other types of concrete work.

Did not prepare new concrete surface as discussed with Paul and agreed to during the quote period and as specified in their T&Cs.
Raised concerns regarding surface preparation before coating was applied. Paul refused site visit and proceeded to send his staff out to apply epoxy coating, stating that the epoxy coating would cover any surface imperfections. It didn't.
Had three attempts at applying concrete epoxy coating on brand new driveway. Had to follow them up on numerous occasions over several months to come back and rectify their initial attempt at resurfacing. Each attempt worse than the last. Surface issues aside, the epoxy coating that HCS made three attempts at on a new driveway has been left looking patchy, discoloured and drip stains on the steps. Neighbours have referred to it as "embarrassing"
Various other issues during the 'service' provided by HCS.
Sprayed the top layer of dirt of a garden bed all over side pathway leading to house access and up the walls of the house. Refused to come back and clean it up. Office lady responded that "it's not a big deal"
Workers were provided with electricity at the front of the house as specified to Paul during the quote phase, however entered under the house and turned off power to fridges and heater causing the heater to trip and require a call out to fix and hundreds of dollars of food wastage.
Paul's response "too bad".
Paul is refusing to answer any follow up phone calls or emails.
These guys took my money and left me with a driveway that looks worse than before without a care in the world.
Will be lodging a formal complaint with Consumer Affairs.
Avoid at all costs and look elsewhere for your concreting solutions.

Brett did an excellent job on my exposed concrete ceiling. They couldn't have done a better job at matching the colour, you can't even see it unless you look really hard! They were also prompt in responding to questions and giving advice.

I used Home Concrete Solutions for two big jobs: (1) grinding off and coating an area of textured concrete that was flaking and shabby and (2) Colouring and sealing an area of terracotta-colour concrete pavers. I could not be happier with the results. At the end of the first day there were a couple of issues that needed remediation. HCS got right onto these and they were rectified the next morning. The finished jobs make a big difference to our backyard—it looks great. Recommended.

Job done very efficiently & to a very good standard. The area was a side walkway leading to an Alfresco. Very pleased with the finish.

Needed a solution to the floors in my takeaway business. Called and spoke with the team, they promptly came and gave me some options. I’ve owned and worked in many different hospitality venues, and this is hands down the best flooring solution for any business. Highly recommend them, and will definitely use them again!

Concrete grinding and new concrete surfacing applied. Turned up on time, carried out work professionally. Masked the area thoroughly and work carried out without mess. End result very good.

They did what they said they would do…. They quoted accurately and as scheduled, they answered all my questions, they started and finished on time. They make it simple.

Beware, when the stuff lifts and doesn’t stick to the concrete, they blame efflorescence and try to get you to pay more because they didn’t prepare it properly.

They are meant to be the experts, not the customer, so don’t guarantee something you can’t, they warned me about the cracks reappearing, but nothing was ever said about efflorescence.

Don’t recommend, find a knowledgeable company and ask if they prepare and guarantee against efflorescence.

Like throwing $5k down a toilet.

You can see they tried a dodgy repair the first time, then just refused to assist without asking for more $$$… broken service.

Paul, I know you tried, but I really felt cheated and let down by the process and I feel people should have a heads up about this so they can make an informed decision. In my opinion, the surface should have been prepared correctly to begin with instead of rework at my expense.

As stated above, you guys are meant to be the experts, not the consumer.

The guy who came out to quote the job was friendly and professional. Taje and Liz did a great job with the driveway and were very obliging and friendly. We are very pleased with the end result

Started well ended with no return calls, emails or SMS. Going to Consumer Affairs. Only way to get the issue fixed. Jan 2020 had my outdoor etched concrete courtyard resurfaced. Really happy with the result. Had some issues with the sealant not holding so paid again to have it redone and sealed again in April 2020. Clearly I’m a wood duck. Fast forward to November 2020 and 2 large cracks started appearing, over 2m x 2m Paul came out to inspect in December, said they were very busy over January but to contact him in mid Jan to do the works in February. Now coming to the end of February - I have called emailed SMS since Jan 21 and sent a carrier pigeon, and zero reply from Paull Brett or Anthony. I’m now going to consumer affairs. Utterly disappointed. Just so surprised at the fact that I’ve been ghosted by a company that I thought was reputable. I think a months worth of calls and emails going on answered is unprofessional by anyone’s standards, but I’m sure they’ll call me a Karen or make some kind of excuse. Hate leaving bad reviews but this is nutso!
