Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders reviews
37 What a great find! Only opened under hotel indigo a month and a half ago!
This is our new place to stay when in Melbourne!
Gorgeous room, great location, best bed ever plus floor to near ceiling window for amazing views!
The aromas are amazing from the moment you walk in.
It’s the perfect location. Only a few blocks walk from the skybus terminal on same road and so close to Crowne. The exhibition centre etc.
Flinders lane is my favourite location for food laneways and random bars etc
WHAT A FIND!
Hope it stays this way.
Absolutely stunning hotel, the room was beautiful, modern, funky and artistic! Ved at reception was amazing, went above and beyond to make check-in and Birthday Cocktail, card & chocolates at the bar very special! Fantastic location, 20min walk to city centre, safe and super clean. Beautiful products in the shower, comfortable bed, everything you need and very quiet. Definitely staying here again!
Quite new and well designed. The service is warm, quick and thorough. Very close to tram station and train station. Surrounded by wonderful cafes and restaurants. The hotel’s own restaurant seems really nice. A perfect choice for short stay in Melbourne.
Stayed recently for a few nights at the recently opened Hotel Indigo Melbourne. Can’t beat the location, walking distance to everything. Rooms are perfect sized and very nicely fitted. I can’t recommend this property enough.
Huge shoutout though to the team members that made the stay absolutely amazing. Bar, restaurant and front of house all were amazing.
Tarusha especially made sure my stay was the best possible experience - nothing was ever too much effort. He always exceeds expectations and always goes above and beyond.
I stayed 4 nights in this hotel. This hotel has been renovated recently from holiday inn hotel. Most of amenities are new, and this gave me good feeling when I stepped in the hotel at first. All the staffs were kind and very supportive. The hotel location was perfect to me. I brought my car for to visit the tourist site around the Melbourne. The hotel is located in the entry of Melbourne CBD. So when I went out from the hotel with my car, it’s easily access to motor way. Also, it’s easy to access the CBD area by walking or free trams.
But, still some of amenities like as fitness gym are under being preparing. Also, you need to pay extra money for car park. The hotel does not have own car park. So, I should park my car the secure parking which is opposite of the hotel.
Rude and discriminating. Never been treated so badly in a hotel. EVER! Never going back. I have worked in this industry and never checked a room before letting a customer leave. Outrageous. I expected so much better.
Stayed at this hotel for a couple of weeks and really enjoyed it. Hotel staff were so friendly and nothing was too hard for them. Beds were great, shower was AMAZING.
Close to everything in Melbourne and public transport is only a short walk away.
Had a great stay room was nice for 91.00 dollars with 100 deposit the check in was easily done and staff were kind and great the room and shower was hot and the t.v worked well I really liked my stay there it's also close to crown casino witch was not so good 2 hours waiting in line was a mess but as for the hotel well worth it. I would definitely stay there agian thankyou
Excellent stay with amazing attitude of the staff. Good food. Congratulations to the chef.
Definitely worth recommending.
Great stay here - comfy beds, nice bathroom, fantastic location - 5 mins to southern cross station, 13 mins to casino. Friendly staff.
A comfortable, clean, larger than typical 'standard' room. Staff pleasant and efficient. Hotel quiet, included breakfast quite reasonable. Very good value for money.
Previously had bad memories of Holiday Inns, but was pleasantly surprised by the Melbourne on Flinders Hotel.
Staff were very polite and attentive, food downstairs was great, rooms were well presented and clean. My own negative is the lack of spa or undercover swimming pool, especially being Melbourne.
Great hotel, upgraded to a river view which was simply stunning. Room was well appointed, modern fresh carpets, clean crisp linen on the bed, nice TV and nespresso machine and kettle etc. Only let down was lack of club lounge which is expect at this level, the Marriott up near Parliament just edges the CP in this regard, but I do prefer the location of this hotel to be right on the waterfront.
Lovely clean modern rooms but it is the staff that made our stay awesome. Special thanks to Tess and Nakita on front desk who were helpful, friendly and supportive supportive during a difficult time for our family.
Good business hotel nearer to the cbd location. Quick checkin and checkout. Breakfast was okay. Food was okay, they had even Indian option bit limited to one option only in the menu. Rooms are bugged quite in the night even road facing ones. Good temperature controller even on those cold nights, it worked well.
Central accommodation, close to public transport and easy access to CBD. Friendly service, clean and comfortable rooms of a high standard. A good restaurant downstairs for breakfast and dinner's
Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders is a great place to stay in the city. The rooms are very comfortable. Sirocco Cafe downstairs has very good food. Southern Cross Station is only a short walk away. There are tram stops close by.
We usually stay across the road, at least once a month, for some reason our booking was cancelled, which saw us looking to stay at The Holiday Inn. I must say, we have now found our new place to stay. Location across from the station is good. The room were nice and spacious, the shower was hot & strong, the bed was so comfy, and a nice large tv on the wall. We had a few beers in the bar & a light snack. Highly recommended, see you next month.
Good location handy to Southern Cross station and the tram network. The rooms are an average size internet quality is poor. Cool rooms have electronic blackout shutters and there is a small bar fridge and a large LCD TV but the sports stations were not working for my entire stay. The bathrooms are small but the shower has reasonable water pressure.
Try not to get a room next to the road to avoid sleepless nights. Restaurant is a bit overpriced for the quality and quantity of food.
