Holey Moley Golf Club Melbourne reviews
40Mini golf was great and such a good activity while having a drink with friends. The theme of each hole was unique and fun and the place had a great atmosphere and mood. The bar was a bit of a let down, not a huge fan of beer from a can and not much room for socialising with friends after a game, but you can just kick on to somewhere else after. Ferris Wheeler's Day Off hole was my absolute favourite
Funky looking venue the themed holes were well done. The loud pop music took away from the experience, a funky Melbourne venue would usually play something that adds atmosphere. Disappointed with the timing of the runs we had to skip holes and come back to finish them.
So fun, try go earlier so the crowds are subdewed. Makes for a great hens, bucks, girls or boys night out or just becuase! Staff are friendly and always willing to help.
Great place for fun Golf. Have been there many time in Melbourne and Adelaide. Would have loved if the cost of drinks were reasonable. Drinks are very costly.
Awesome entertaining place. Mini golf is funny and exciting. Liked the USA Pale Ale. Can't complain. Would have been even better if there is more room.
What a great place to visit, I downloaded the Holey Moly App and it is easy to use, my wife and myself had a great time here, we did the whole course and if you have time I would recommend doing the same
.
This place can be excellent depending on what time you go. I've been twice now and the two experiences were entirely different. Go earlier if you want to focus on playing the golf. Go later if you want to focus on drinking and get a photo on the famous Simpsons couch.
Whilst the course is great and challenging, probably one of the better courses we've played on in the country, it is very expensive. It cost us $120 for 18 holes for 4 people. At those prices i expected the hire clubs to be in better condition than they were.
As mentioned the course itself is fun, not a technical course apart from the odd hole. Each hole has a theme, like the Simpson's or Back to the Future. There is a stocked bar that does cocktails and the like if you are so enclined.
It is a 27 hole putt putt course but at those prices it was too steep to play all of them. I would have liked to though.
Surprisingly hidden away in the CBD, good team building event. Limited food menu and not much seating area to mingle after the game. No where to place our bags so we had to carry it as we played.
This venue is a great place whether you are out for an occasion or just casually with mates. The holes are wonderful and enjoyable. However when it does get busy you can find yourself with a group on either end. The drinks are also quite expensive, a can (there are no bottles or taps) of beer is $8+. Overall a nice experience, apart from the urinal hole actually smelling like urinal cakes.
Cool venue but doesn't seem great for larger groups (10+). Felt rushed and limited in capacity to interact with the rest of the group other than my team of four and the one team ahead.
Golfing was fun! Lots of different courses to try and was a good atomosphere. I would suggest maybe improving the gluten free menu and include some explanation as to what and how it is prepared.
Great place. Pretty crowded even for a Sunday night (Melbourne cup long weekend) but the vibe was pretty cool. Drinks in the bar were cheaper than all of the other bars we had visited and we felt like it was pretty good value for money to play a round of mini golf.
Cool place, love the theming, would like to see groups capped at 4 people though. Waiting for groups of 7+ in front of us got boring, we actually skipped a hole to get in front of them.
This is a great place for a fun, unique activity. Unfortunately, during peak times people do not move quick enough to go efficiently through each hole consecutively. The bar is also understaffed and requires more seating options but overall is acceptable
Great facility and amazing drink options. Only downside is the cost and number of people jammed into here. There is little supervision as well which means people often do more than they've paid for. Drinks are pricey too.
You like cocktails? You like mini golf? You'll like this place. Fantastic venue. Great selection of holes and drinks. Go here. Best place for friends or dates.
Been twice now, first time I wasn't overly impressed as it was too crowded and all the seats were booked so our work group couldn't sit anywhere. Last time however was much better and actually had a great time - fun courses, DJ was playing great throwback tunes and the bar staff were really friendly (seemed to actually enjoy working there too which was nice to see and showed in the service), overall good vibes. Would now definitely recommend.
Indoor mini golf, with a sense of humour. We giggled at every hole, and liked that we could buy drinks (there's a place at the start of each hole to rest them). No time limit, so you can take a breather between rounds. There were all ages there; good to have a family-freindly venue.
Fun times at this punny little hole on the wall. The alcohol they serve will help you appreciate the hilarious obstacles all the more.
Great for a date or a night out with friends.
