Hoi An Village Vietnamese Restaurant reviews
32The food is always consistently good and well priced menu too. This has become a regular place to have dinner.
This is the best in the area. Easy parking, great service with fast and flavourful food to match. They cater very well for large groups. Recently they added PayID as another option to pay. Very smart idea. Got to place for large family get togethers
Consistent after many years. Good serving sizes and not too salty or overloaded with MSG. Large menu so there's usually something to suit everyone. The service is quick which is always great.
Dislikes:
- Don't love their chilli oil (upon request only), it's more like a dry paste than the standard oil or satay oil type of sauce.
- The nuoc mam is also strange here, tastes like sugar water - very light on the fish sauce/garlic/chilli.
-Also not a fan of the single use espresso cups given as tea cups.that's a first. Not enjoyable & unnessarily wasteful. Hope that's a temporary thing.
We ordered a 80$ STIR FRY-GARLIC PRAWN. We expected something grand because of the pricing, and the offer of “free noodles and vegetable (s) ”… in the end we literally got something worth less than 20$ in other asian restaurants. Bland taste and lack of ingredients.
Really tasty sweet & sour pork, nice and warm, sauce made my diabetees a bit higher reading but worth it
I loved the food there, very nice employees and service was fast in my opinion. I'll definitely be back again to try more of the dishes and get more coffee.
Always busy here. Doesn't seem to have any uniquely Vietnamese taste, but the prices are good and the serves generous
Best food on this planet for a very good price. Open 7days a week, 11am to 8pm. Open every holiday if the year. Free endless tea served free. A great dining experience. Only drawback is noisy children at peak lunch & dinnertime.
Great little spot for authentic Vietnamese food, the staff are really friendly, food was very tasty and well priced. We ordered pipis with Chinese donuts, XO oysters, salted fish fried rice and quail. Their service was quick and attentive. I’d like to come back to try their hotpot which I hear is a must try from other patrons.
My favourite restaurant but I hate most when they sweep the floor while guest are still eating. Because it send dust all over the food. Idiots can’t think
Banh Xeo batter is paper-thin crispy and I love how the middle part has a slight nice chew!
As you can see, banh xeo typically has prawn and pork however this place serves up banh xeo with pork, juicy king prawns and squid, along with onions and beanspouts.
Service is always friendly and accommodating!
Difficult to get the servers' attention and there were flies buzzing around, at least close the door. It was only a 20 degree day. Food was average and pricey, especially the $55 sour soup for my elderly mother. $55 for a plain fish sour soup, young or old is simply far too expensive. When we went to pay we were given a handwriting a receipt in Vietnamese, likely because they assumed we were Vietnamese (we are not). We then asked for an English version of the receipt and still the receipt could only be handwritten, how unprofessional.
Great service, great food and all at a great price! Ate here tonight and loved it. We had a slight hiccup as my wife forgot to mention her allergy but they fixed it up free of charge. Restaurant feels nice and authentic too. Highly recommend.
We loved their broken rice with pork chop, Vietnamese rice paper rolls and the crispy chicken spare ribs on tomato fried rice, generous portions, good service, reasonable price, and wide range of menu variety. Highly recommended, will come back again in the future!
The best Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant around Springvale South area. My family always go their for hotpot and lobster in XO sauce with a few side dishes. 100% recommend.
I got Bun Nem Nuong today and it was amazing than I expected. The portion is also huge. I’ll definitely come back to try more dishes.
Cane here for takeaway but this place makes amazing lobster noodles. The sauce is so rich and flavoured and compliments the lobster.
The chicken spare ribs and flounder are delicious - crispy batter and mixed in with a mix of onions, capsicum, dried onions.
Great place if your looking for restaurant style food.
Easy parking, clean place, good foods with reasonable prices!

Decent Vietnamese without having to fight for a carpark in Springvale Central. They also have a good range of seafood dishes.
Food portion is huge and they are very generous with rice. I find it wasteful as not any people would finish their meal. Would love it if they could work on their food presentation though.
