Hockit - Adelaide's Luxury Pawn Shop

Definitely recommend.
After spending the past couple of years keeping my eye out for a GMT Batman watch I was extremely surprised when walking in to not only find the GMT Batman they also had the GMT batgirl. Got a great but fair deal on both watches extremely pleasant to deal with.

Richard and the team are fantastic. This is my go to place for the perfect gift or something special for myself. Always so much fun to shop here.

A very nice range of luxury goods, workers are very welcoming and lovely. Definitely a store to checkout especially Adelaide having no high end goods.

Owner is a gaudy flog who spoke in a condescending and somewhat patronising manner when offering his low-ball valuation of my item (which I DID NOT accept). Equally unimpressive were the sales staff who had attitudes that would have you thinking they were the designers of the luxury brands sold in this store. Whilst Hockit may be the only in-person retail store that buys/sells luxury bags and accessories in Adelaide, I would recommend anyone who may be considering shopping or selling their items here, to look into one of the many other stores across Australia who offer better prices for your items, as well as providing better overall service

Went to pick up some low dunk Pandas today. Really nice looking shop and great- friendly customer service. Particularly Annie who was very sweet and cute:) Mary was also very lovely and kind: D

Wow not your usual kind of pawn shop! Offers cash loans for secured items like diamonds, watches, jewellery etc.
Think this type store with pawned luxury designer items is unique to little Adelaide til this store presented itself on Gawler Pace CBD. Stocks some really nice items dependent on the occasional visit.

They have an incredible range of very high end designer items. The mature lady with the blonde hair is nice at first, but the second you decide you're not going to spend a few thousand for a handbag that day, her attitude turns a bit snarky "Oh well, someone else will definitely buy it". Okay, whatever, good luck with that.

Very professional service and help with making a decision about buying a watch without being over the top. Worked out a good price and was assisted in getting it resized as part of the service.

If I could give zero star, I would really do it.
This place is very terrible to sell goods, jewellery and designer Bags.
For a chanel that worth $15k they only offer$3k what a joke,
It because I sold some of my Bags to you for your cheap offer, it doesn't mean you can fool me again.think about your costumer too, not just you thinking to earn for your business, as a costumer we're doing business too to get our money back. I will never come back again.
There's more consignment store around Adelaide who knows to offer fair.

This little shop on Ackland is a jewel! I found designer sunnies there for an absolute steal. I met one of the shop owners who was so knowledgeable
and fair. I wasn't oversold or pushed. So many things I would have liked to buy. Look forward to browsing again when I can!
