Travis provided an outstanding service in selling my property in Croydon North. Prior to listing, Travis clearly outlined the sale process, fee arrangements and pricing strategy and was patient in answering all of my related questions. When an issue arose with my neighbours about the placement of the 'for sale' sign, Travis was quick to respond and have it rectified. Travis called me immediately after each open with a summary of who came through and whether they were a likely offeror. Once the offers came through, again Travis kept me in the loop and sought my confirmation of his next moves. The outcome was a sale at a price that I was very pleased with against a backdrop of rising interest rates and change of government. I would have no hesitation in using Travis again or recommending him to others.

Over 2 months to get a bathroom with tiles falling off the shower wall fixed. The mould on the ceiling; to date; unfixed.

Tenants, Don't wait more than the 14 days to get your urgent repairs done. After 14 days of your written notification you're able to organise your own trade up to $2500 to get it fixed immediately.

Samantha from hocking stuart TIME and TIME AGAIN has other people do her job for her; from Emily (receptionist come property manager), to myself, the landlord, and the builder co-ordinating fixes.

Utterly ludicrous that you take a fee out of my rent every month; I haven't seen you in 2 years.

Samantha has been so easy to deal with, we have had some terrible experiences in the past with agents but she, by far, has been the best we have dealt with.

Awful experience of property management with Samantha at Hocking Stuart. Unresponsive, disorganised, hardly ever available for phone calls and still waiting for our bond to be finalised and sent to the correct people. We had completed tenant transfer paperwork almost two months ago, and yet she had not sent it to RTBA, now leaving us with the bond under incorrect names and having to wait probably over a month to actually be refunded. She claimed WE mustn't have signed it off and that's why it's under incorrect names, so we have now forwarded the email we did orginally send to her with said SIGNED paperwork. No response. During tenancy, maintenance emails were not replied to and communication was completely lacking. Will be avoiding tenancy with Hocking Stuart Ringwood in the future.

My Husband and I have been renting with Hocking Stuart Ringwood for the past 12 months and have found them to be professional, approachable and great with communication. Avoid at all costs. Directors are a joke. Do not sell, rent or buy through these insults on society.

We bought a property (off the plan) via Hocking Stuart Ringwood a couple months ago. We dealt with Nick Mitchell. When we settled, we were notified by Nick that he wouldn't be able to meet us and to grab the keys to our new house from the receptionist. After we grabbed the keys and went to our brand new home, we were completely shocked by how unprofessional Nick and the team at Hocking Stuart were. Not only the house was incomplete, but it was also a complete mess. We didn't have a kitchen or any gas/hot water. The toilets couldn't flush as the plumber hadn't connected the toilets to the sewage system yet. There was urine in the toilets from when the tradies used them. Nick had obviously not even gone to the house to do the final inspection/checks prior to giving us the keys. After calling Nick multiple times, he finally responded that the builders will be coming back a week later to install the kitchen and hot water tank. By this stage we have already settled and are paying interest for a property we cannot possibly live in. The house was a complete mess with dirt and paint all over the floor which we had to clean up ourselves. I understand that there may be issues with the house which require rectifications, but the house was uninhabitable. The least Nick and Hocking Stuart could have done was do a basic check of the property before allowing us to settle. In the end, Nick handballed us to the builder and we didn't hear from Nick again. It took about 2 weeks of constantly calling the builder to finally get our kitchen, gas and toilets working. Extremely unhappy with the service from Hocking Stuart Ringwood.
