We often go to Lorna two doors down but decided to mix it up today instead.
Any of the locals would know how hard that is to do as Lorna makes such good coffee.
The combination of Vietnamese and coffee may seem like an odd combination but I can say that it works really well.
The coffee is of high quality and the machine that is used there is a great piece of work.
The food is well priced and very good quality also, I had the Pork Banh Mi and two rolls.
The only problem with going here today is now I have to decide which shop to visit where as in the past it was easy for me to choose.
Almost forgot, the service was pleasant and efficient.
To anyone in the area, I suggest giving it ago, you won’t be disappointed.

Would avoid going here. My husband wanted a Vietnamese roll. We walked down to the local cafe a few doors down from Hochi Mini and got our coffees. After that my husband walked into Hochi Mini to get his Viet roll. Only to be told by the owner there that “out of respect we also do coffee here” and that “this time he will let it go”. How dare you! We are trying to support all our local small businesses during this time only to get that comment thrown in our faces! The attitude was present as soon as my husband walked in the door. No greeting. Nothing. Disgusting behaviour. Will NEVER go back and would advise against anyone else going either. Spend your money on a local business where people appreciate it.

Best coffee around. Rice paper rolls, especially crispy pork, are great too. Super friendly staff.

Enjoyed all the foods we had: pho beef noodle soup, roast pork banh mi, spring rolls, bbq on skewer, rice paper rolls. All freshly made. Very good service and great coffee too. Will definitely go back. It’s worth our travel from Ivanhoe.

Extremely rude customer service. Kicked me out of the store for ordering a takeaway coffee from a shop other than theirs (it was takeaway, I wasn't dining in with it, and I was only picking up takeaway food). Food is good, but won't be going back.

Had the beef soup [Pho] It was absolutely AMAZING! The beef was so tender it melted in my mouth! This shops coffee [latte] Was absolutely AMAZING One of the best in a long long time ️️️

Finally a delicious authentic Vietnamese Cafe in Ferntree Gully area with delicious food at reasonable prices. Just wish they were open for dinner as well!

Paid $8.50 for shredded cabbage and papaya. I thought the vegetarian salad might have included tofu? Not sure if it was missed but I was quite disappointed. Tasty and fresh but not a full meal. Three stars because service was friendly and good.
