Very disappointed this time. We both had the salmon at $32 and it was tasteless, over cooked and appeared to be on a packet of coleslaw that you purchase from coles/Woolworths. We waited and waited for our order. I know that we have been in a pandemic for a long time, but whatever happed to the salmon with smashed peas served on mashed potato. Unless I hear of an improvement, I won’t be back. Upon speaking to some other friends, they walked a long time ago. Such a shame!

Went to this establishment with some work mates. First time customer. It was highly recommended, and I was not disappointed.
An enjoyable atmosphere and exceptional customer service by the staff.
The food was exceptional and delivered in a realistic timeframe. The price was competitive too.
It was great to see a business fighting back from COVID by saturating their customers with service.
A highlight of the evening was having a beer with the owner later in the evening at our table.
Highly recommend for anyone

Really good brekky at a great location and reasonably priced too. We tried the hipster breakfast (smashed avo and eggs on toast) and the pancakes and both were really good. The coffee and chai latte were good too. The service was quick and wait staff friendly, overall can not fault it.
We will be back next weekend.

The Barramundi was absolutely delicious, crispy skinned on the outside & beautifully moist on the inside better than any I've eaten while holidaying in Queensland. I highly recommended Hobsons & will be returning with a group of friends

Great venue and friendly staff but totally overpriced for the lack of food quality! Pizzas were frozen fast food style, burger had more sugar than any other ingredients and the Parma had a hair on the plate! Very disappointing experience. And to top it off, they ran out of their signature beer that was still advertised on the specials board

Note to kitchen staff: If you don’t have enough ingredients don’t send it out to customers. Seriously, this is the chicken fajita! Spot the chicken. 5 pieces if you’re lucky for $28. Wow.and that will be my last visit ever. We’ve been here 4 times in a few years and it slips lower and lower every time. Probably explains the empty room.

Im so disappointed. We have bern here quite often but tonight, we booked a table and we waited almost 2 hours for our meals. When i asked about getting the kids meals, there was confusion with the order. When we approached the 'manager' he didnt seem to care. We walked out and when somewhere else to eat.

Hobsons in Sandringham is an excellent place to chill out but it has loads of atmosphere I just popped in tonite with a mini-kit for their Wednesday Jam I'm playing with The Hollowbodies Band for a few well known rock/blues trax theres some great tap beer here its icy cold and the meals are superb!

Amazing. I love this place so much I've booked out the room upstairs for my 50th. The Manager is AMAZING. Worked with me on prices and dates making sure I was happy. I so can't wait to party there for my 50th on the 13/12/19

Don't think that the Classic Breakfast was cooked at the time of ordering. Appeared to have been served from batch cooked a fair while prior to taking the order.

The hash brown was nice. Staff friendly.

Decent lunch and drinks. Staff willingly rearranged tables to accommodate the large group. P. S. There is a hair straightener in the women's bathroom.

Absolutely appalling service, was pointed to our seats then waited 25 minutes to have a waiter come see us. We had already gone to the bar ourselves to get drinks. Once orderes we waited another 45 mins to an hour to have 4 meals that werent ours bought to us. When we checked with kitchen to see there was no idea what was going on. Apon deciding to leave I spoke with the manager who knew that they were not up to speed but wasnt doing anything about it. Have ppl there who have no idea whats going on and no management what so ever. We went to the grill house and where served withing 35 mins drinks in 5 all sorted. Spent over $300 your loss hobsons.very dissapointing have been here 3 prevoius times with great results this time overshadowed all of that.

Such a great pub! Very much my new local. Food was great and priced very well. Kids menu includes ice-cream with their meals!

Loved celebrating my bday, great night out delicious food & we all enioyed it. We will be back as always

We only go to the bar and we love it. It is like a cosy little English pub. Great selection of beers on tap, fine wines, friendly service. It is our local. There is a restaurant, the menu looks interesting and it's busy.

Used the upper room for an event. Staff were helpful and friendly, food was great pub fair. Had no issues across setup to packup.
Prices were reasonable for an up-market pub based in a affluent area (~25 for a parma, chips and salad), reasonable variety of food, kids meals abd and a large selection of beverages.
Downstairs had a variety of seeting to suit 2 to a family.
Sunday night was pretty quiet.

Very nice food and friendly service. Especially good sitting near the fireplace on a cold, wet night.

A large group of us (25?) had dinner here on Sunday evening. The place is quite big with an outdoor area at the rear. Our booking was for 6: 30pm so they knew we were coming. The menu offered a good selection and orders are placed by the individual. Drinks are ordered at the bar. I admit to grumbling about paying $10 for small glass of wine, but I suppose that is standard these days. Everyone was happy with their choice and portions were generous. The only problem was how much time passed between meals coming out - some had almost finished when others just had their meals placed in front of them. Perhaps that can't be helped with so many people.
