Hitched by Heidi

Heidi is THE ONE you need in your corner when you're getting hitched. She feels like a bestie and has one heckin' sense of humour.
We had Heidi as our celebrant and our MC, our brief was essentially "light hearted but full of love" and she was that perfect balance of heart string pulling and laughter that we all needed. Heidi set the scene for an amazing reception by getting everybody pumped. Heidi also made sure we had a moment to ourselves and food in our gobs! So many people including vendors said it was the best wedding they'd been apart of so if that's not a compliment then I dont know what is!

Oh my god, there is so much to say about Heidi! I'll TRY to not rant on for days, but that can easily happen when speaking so highly of this wonderful human being. From our very first meeting with Heidi, we stopped looking for celebrants immediately, because we knew we had found the one! She was the right level of banter and energy we wanted and knew she would be perfect for us! In the lead up to the wedding, there was never a time she was not there to support us. She helped us with finding vendors, her emails with wedding recommendations was extremely helpful, no question was too much her. Her professionalism and engagement made us feel like we were in the most safe hands. We never once had to follow up with her, because she was always on the front foot and in control.

On the day of the wedding, we would have actually been lost without her. From driving in and seeing her waving her hands in the air all crazy, made me feel instantly relaxed. We were running very late, and I'm a time freak so I was a little stressed out, but Heidi made me so relaxed the second I saw her. The ceremony was perfect! Her script was written perfectly, it was exactly the vibe we wanted for us and our guests, it's like she has known us for years, she had our guest laughing and crying (happy tears!) and had all the emotions flowing.

One of the many many things that stood out, was the fact she understood that we were stressed with the schedule being way behind time, so being the legend she is, she stepped in for organising the family photos and was helping our photographer round up the troops to speed things up! One of the best moments was when she came round to me later and said "Linda, we've got the schedule back on track" - Hallelujah!

Another thing, Heidi NEEDS to be your MC, there is no question, so if you've booked someone else, please cancel them and book Heidi! Everyone LOVED HER! She was all over it, always there for when we needed her, always checking in. In addition to all of this, she managed to do some content creation and get some incredible background footage of our day. I have to say, the combo of Heidi, our photographer and videographer was the perfect group our people for sunset photos, we had the best time laughing and joking around, sooo fun!

So if in doubt, don't be! Heidi will be the most incredible addition to your wedding and you will not regret booking her. As I write this I have tears welling up, but Heidi, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for EVERYTHING, you are one in a million, a legend amongst celebrants, a gem of a woman and one of the best people we've ever met. We are so so glad we choose you. We love you Heidi:) xxxxx

It’s really hard to put into words how great a celebrant, MC, general wedding facilitator and overall human being Heidi is.

She was the first celebrant we had a call with when planning our wedding. After our initial chat with her, we cancelled all our other celebrant appointments - she left that good a first impression. I can’t express how much she lived up to, and exceeded our expectations.

She made the lead up to the wedding so much less stressful, with a great breadth of knowledge, organisation, and her online portal that greatly simplifies the process of writing vows, structuring the ceremony, and setting the overall vibe of the whole day. Her thorough system also ensures you stay on the right track with your planning, which was a great help to a permanently distracted individual like me.

The real magic, however, is what she manages to do with all of your input. She’s hilarious, charismatic, a great speechwriter, even better speaker, and your dearest friend and aide on your wedding day. She’s a very genuine person, who very clearly understood what made my now wife and I tick, and this understanding resulted in a ceremony that did not feel contrived, like many weddings often do, and a day that was perfectly reflective of us as a couple, including all of our bizarre idiosyncrasies!

I cannot recommend Heidi enough. She is some kind of celebrant deity, and should absolutely be your first choice in officiating your wedding.

We were fortunate enough to meet Heidi at my brother’s wedding last May! After the ceremony and upon meeting her I knew instantly that I wanted her to be my celebrant (I wasn’t even engaged yet!)

Heidi goes beyond her celebrant role description - she sent through emails in the lead up with such valuable information on weddings and during the planning process, this is exactly what I needed!

I felt like our story was shared so beautifully and the way she tied it altogether is something that our guests STILL talk about! Listening to her speak during the ceremony, felt like she had known us for years! My family absolutely love her!

Heidi has a high level of communication, she can instantly make you feel incredibly calm (which, on your wedding day is something that you need) and she has such a bubbly and fun personality that sets the mood right from the beginning!

We couldn’t be more grateful for everything she did and how she went above and beyond to make our day what it was! We love you Heidi!

Heidi is a legend! I can’t thank her enough on how smoothly she made sure my special day go. She really made sure we stuck to time and thought on her feet to make sure we got through everything we needed! We recently got "Hitched by Heidi". Heidi was a vital part of our day and nothing was to much for her. She made it fun and light hearted which is exactly what we were after. We can't thank her enough for her love and support during the planning process and her help on the day with things outside of her job! I will be recommending Heidi to anyone and everyone that will listen.

Would highly recommend Heidi, she was chilled, funny and made the ceremony exactly what we were looking for. Heidi was our celebrant and MC for our wedding earlier this month. To say she was incredible is an understatement!
Heidi took the time to get to know us individually and as a couple, setting the tone for the day from the very beginning of our ceremony.
Heidi made us feel comfortable and most importantly stayed true to our personalities. Our ceremony ran so smoothly and was one of the highlights of our day!

Throughout the rest of the night Heidi ensured that all ‘formalities’ such as our entrance and speeches ran smoothly as well as always making sure we had a drink in our hand and had eaten etc.

We had guests come up to us later in the evening asking if Heidi was a friend of ours as she seemed to know us so well.

Where to start? There’s too many good things to say about Heidi and literally zero negatives. Heidi was such a positive, cheerful and calming force that accompanied us from the very first meeting til our last drinks as newlyweds.
We had so many questions and the stress was sky high but Heidi always managed to reassure us and give us all the answers we needed. She’s a pro in every sense of the word and after this experience I would trust her with my life.
The ceremony she wrote for us was the most fun but also sentimental. Our guests were all raving about her for days after the wedding. Her MC services are also 5 stars, she guided us and the guests through the most nerve wrecking hurdles of ceremony and reception with grace, humor and kindness. Please please please, do yourself a favour and have her as your celebrant and MC because she’ll give you and your guests an unforgettable special day!

She was SO professional but felt like a bestie the whole time. We felt like whenever we needed her we could call or email - she was so punctual with her replies, never had to wait long!

When we started looking for celebrants we found the process overwhelming and didn't know how to begin. As soon as we first met Heidi, we knew it was a perfect fit. She was so down-to-earth, took the time to invest in us and get to know us from the get go and helped us with the whole wedding process before we had even locked her in.

Throughout the time leading up to the day we didn't feel rushed and she was always there at the end of an email or zoom if we had any freak outs (including one of us having a last minute vow panic!).

The day was more than we could have hoped for on so many levels and Heidi was a MASSIVE part of the day being as magical as it was. We both felt so grateful that Heidi was at the helm of our ceremony as it allowed us to relax and enjoy the moment and she completely took our nerves away because we knew we were in safe hands.

Heidi fit in to our day so well it truly felt like a friend was marrying us.

We will never forget the comedy, the banter, the emotion, the way Heidi dealt with the odd heckle. Every single guest we have spoken to since has remarked on how brilliant the ceremony was, (including many telling us it is the best ceremony they've been to!).

Heidi will always be such an important part of our day. We had such an awesome team. We can't recommend or rave about her enough.

Heidi was a truly amazing celebrant AND! MC for our wedding day. Her fun and bubbly attitude drew us to her instantly and we knew we had to have her on our big day! Despite having a very relaxed and easy going nature about her, she was extremely organised and vigilant in ensuring all the legal aspects were put together. Our day would not have run as smoothly if it wasn’t for her! Our ceremony was fun and relaxed, everything we wanted, and we had so many compliments from our family and friends about how awesome and fun Heidi was, especially on the dance floor: P

Heidi officiated our wedding in October this year and we were so pleased we had her along for this process. She was very professional and ensured all the legalities were sorted so we didn't have to worry about anything. If we could give this lady 10 stars we would, but 5 will have to cut it. Heidi was and is absolutely incredible. From beginning to end Heidi was with us the whole way through, from putting together our ceremony to helping write our vowels. She was thorough and kind and helpful, and made everything just that bit easier. If you're looking for your celebrant, you've found her, look no further. From funny to serious and everything in between, this lady had got you! Thank you Heidi for everything you did for us, your time with us will always be treasured and we couldn't imagine our ceremony going any smoother.
