Peter is an absolutely amazing instructor who genuinely knew his music and put effort in and was able to help us immediately with our wedding dance and tailor it to the song despite our complete inexperience. Strong recommendation!

Amazing studio. Hit the floor is a lovely community of students and teachers. Wonderful teachers. Warm and welcoming students. I've done both private and group classes here for 4 years and really enjoyed them.

I've done a lot of things that feel strange in my 55 years but learning a dance felt strangest of all. To say it's not my natural space would be an economical statement. I am sure my wife would agree.

Peter's patience and calm demeanour were clear from day one. After some weeks of practice under his tutelage we both felt very confident all would be OK on the night; our wedding dance did indeed go perfectly. What a relief! Peter gave us the confidence we needed. Do not hesitate.

It's the best dance studio ever, the owner Peter is an amazing dance teacher, his team of dance teachers are of high level of teaching as well.

Peter is a kind & caring teacher who takes good care of all his students and our needs.

The rest of the team are also very kind & fun! Peter is also a great trainer for Dancesport competition, as he's been a multiple champion in different dance competition!

This studio is hands down the most friendly and support dance studio I have ever come across. The teachers teach to a high standard for those interested in really pursuing dance. The friendly atmosphere makes this the perfect place for first timers or those looking to wow their friends and family at a function or wedding.

A brilliant studio with two beautiful dance floors, great people and friendly talented teachers. We hire the space on a regular basis and would recommend this studio for anyone looking for dance and fitness classes, a venue to hire, or place to meet friendly people and have some fun!

I always wanted to learn to dance properly but other priorities in life intervened. It was not until I was in my ripe old age of 65 that I was able to engage fully by attending a regular dance class. I did not start with Hit the Floor but with another mob. I was almost on the verge of giving it all up when it was bought over by Hit the Floor and I started afresh with Jackie & Peter. My initial goal was to know enough dancing to enjoy myself at many of the social occasions known as dinner dances in my community. I am now learning things to which I may never be able to give expression in a crowded dance floor that I usually encounter. Still I love my regular dance class, both to refresh and to dance more elegantly what I think I already know but also to be coerced into new dance styles and routines. Jackie and Peter teach for the love of infecting others to move to music. I pray that they continue well into the future stimulating many more to experience the joy of such movement.

I started off with one private hiphop lesson per week. Its been 6 months, now i visit hit the floor dance studio almost every day to attend private lessons on ballroom and latin dancing and group classes of ballroom, latin, jazz and hiphop. The dance crew here are extremely talented and supportive. They organize medal nights on a quarterly basis giving the students an opportunity to perform. I am delighted with my experience at hit the floor and looking forward to improve my dance skills while i train here.
