Hired a spray gun cleaned all filters returned and hitedepot charged another $100 for cleaning the outside of the spray gun machine it had previous paint on it

My landscaper subsequently needed a mini excavator for the day. I was to return it the next morning at 9: 00am but we had a genuine, personal emergency arise. I rang and the young man who answered, not only said that I could bring it back a couple of hours late, he expressed his sympathy for our problem. While that mightn’t seem “amazing”, it reduced my anxiety, and the service experience was consistent with everything that I had experienced previously.

It’s clear to me that this company, which apparently has 2 branches, has a genuine service ethos—it’s a priority and it shows! It’s easy to talk about service but great service only walks, if it starts with senior management, who are smart enough to empower staff, at the coalface.

Booked equipment piece days in advance only to be told late the day before pick up that the previous hirer refused to return the item even though it was pre-booked. We were left with hours of additional labour and expense due to weak management.

They where the only place that had a dustless circular saw which was good and done the job. Service was good and they had it ready to go before I arrived. Open all day Saturday which helps and I would hire from them again if I needed to.
