Hillsong Church Melbourne City Campus reviews
28The church is big and the people are welcoming. However, they cannot explain the bible. The sermon was short, but not understandable. The pastor talks about his own life too much. How can we go to the kingdom of heaven when you can't even explain the bible to us? People wear short shorts to the church and the boys wear shorts. At least for church, try to be a little appropriate before God.
Great place for your spiritual Needs or spiritual Thanks.it is inspiring and educational.definitely recommend!
It was so good. Everyone was friendly. I was so impressed with the words and praises so impressing worship
The most unique church experience ever! The songs are amazing and feel like a personal concert! Dean was truly captivating and a great speaker! The free New Testaments at the end were the cherry on top! Will be coming back!
1st time visiting festival hall, very welcoming and friendly people. Awesome worship. And a great feed afterwards. Ill go again. I had to catch the bus from maidstone. Bus 220 took me right outside the church. Brilliant!
The Athenaeum Theatre - What a Grand old building with historic beauty and cinematic architecture in Melbourne. Went and saw the "Wedding Singer" musical - What a fantastic show and what a fantastic venue. Both a must if you visit Melbourne
Always a high point. An integral part of my spiritual journey, always leave feeling inspired and ready for the next step.
Hillsong do not own this venue, they are just one of the "Shows" held there each week. And they should never have been allowed to buy the iconic Festival Hall. Any "Church" that makes you pay for prayers, is not a genuine church. Only leaving one star, as it wont let me leave none.
What a wonderful service this morning at Hillsong Church Melbourne. David Ramesy was the guest speaker. He was phenomenal. I laughed, I cried and hid sermon made me think about life, finances and giving back. It inspired ideas. I feel truly blessed.
Amazing volunteers and experience everytime I enter into Hillsong Church. Just the peace when i walk in speaks for it self. Definitely encourage visitors to visit as they make you feel at home
Amazing staff amazing experience. Even if your new to Christ or a follower for a while. They made me feel welcome and appreciated.
Good church in a great city location. I love the theatre its in. People are friendly and services are great
A place that we call home, a church for everyone
Nice place for praise God and cool worship leader and the team also. The place equiped with air conditioning, elevators, toilets
Overall good place and good worship, be back someday if i’m in Melbourne
We call it home - have done so since 2002.
I'm biased, but it's got a great kids program across the road at the Westin Hotel too.)
Great astounded with the historic beauty and cinematic architecture in the church location in Melbourne itself. Although I felt like it’s very tight and narrow which I reckon can only accommodate 200-350 seaters. However, I like the idea of setting the livestream of the main preacher from different location and the mere fact that everyone from different state are watching the same preaching across over Australia is amazing.
I thoroughly enjoyed the service! All of the volunteers were very friendly:). It was a bit chilly in the theater, so I recommend that you bring a jacket if weather permits.
Beautifullll place to connect with some amazing god loving people and to praise and worship and learn more about yourself, god and your personal relationship with him
5 services every Sunday: 9am, 10.45am, 12.30pm, 4.30pm and 6.30pm
There are exceptions on special occasions such as Easter or Father’s/Mother’s Day where there are different service timings. Would recommend checking their Instagram page @hillsongmelcity before visiting!
Shout out to all the volunteers who spend a part of their Sunday to serve the church! You make a difference and just wanna appreciate you if you see this:)
My son has been attending for some time. But his youth leader is a bit weird. I feel that something is wrong here. I have had friends whose kids have been groomed by older youth leaders and I am worried this is happening. Don't send your kids here if you can help it! Things are not always as they seem and I think something is a bit wrong with it all
