However, some of the waiters (especially the chubby guy with black glasses), he can be quite rude. Bit of an attitude problem. He needs to adjust his tone towards customers that speak english.

Good place for the price and nice to talk with your friends. A few other genuine Chinese restaurants are too crowded in Box Hill.

Have not patronise this place for a couple of years till recently. We had a group of ten and we enjoyed all the dishes recommended although some dishes were small in portions for ten people. Price is reasonable, service is good and friendly. This place look dated especially the entrance, that is why we always give it a miss although we live nearby.

Pretty good value BBQ - I find the crispy roast pork and the BBQ pork best.

Servings are large and the turnover is pretty high. It's best value to buy the meat by itself and to serve it with rice and vegetables at home.

Used to come here since 30+ years ago. Love the food until the latest visit. Price has gone up alot and food quality gone down. Was here before M3 was built. Well guess I will not be going back anytime soon.

Got diarrhoea 30mins after having food there. Guess they didn’t wash the glass well because something tasted wrong in the tea.

The waiter was a guy with glasses. He attempted to take our menu away before we finished ordering. His face was like we owe him money.

A throwback to old Hong Kong dining. Don't let the dated exterior keep you away from the quality food served inside. The interior is clean and the food is a real taste of Cantonese cuisine. The traditional bbq is top notch too. Definitely worth a revisit as I hadn't been here for a good ten years!

I have been a regular at this establishment for many, many years, and have never experienced the problems that others claim to have faced. Perhaps you could say that the service is perfunctory if you were feeling critical, but you'd be very hard pressed to see the bottom of your cup for the complimentary tea. The food offering is extremely diverse and tasty, and the speed at which it arrives from the kitchen is almost frightening. It also helps to be able to read Chinese, given that many of the more exciting dishes are written on the wall in it. The lobster is always phenomenal, and whilst their cut meats are always tasty, look out especially for their special sausage, which I am yet to find elsewhere. Overall, the meals are always affordable, and the restaurant has recently undergone a spruce-up. A Station St stalwart indeed.

I’ve been coming here for years and love it. Very friendly people, lots of delicious food and drinks, big portions and always yummy.

From this unassuming restaurant comes the best friend noodle dish I've ever tasted. Their other dishes are tasty as well, very well priced

Ordered fried Beef HorFun today and was very disappointed cos the dish was tasteless, like the cook forgot to add salt and no wok hei at all. They were kind to replace us another plate but not much improvement though. Anyway, their roasted pork was crispy n duck was ok.

I think this place has changed over the years. I definitely won't be coming back again. It all started as soon as we sat down and they gave us tea in dirty cups and gave dirty cutlery to my son they apologized and replaced it.the extra large rice was tiny just enough for three of those really small palm sized bowls. The black bean chicken was really fatty but I was starving and ate it anyway. The Chinese sausage came out dead cold on the plate.it was a pretty bad experience I suggest you play it safe and go to China bar atleast this way you know what you are getting.
Those three meals without beverages cost $55 dollars.and my wife got a small wonton soup which tasted like dumplings in hot water with a few spring onion off cuts.nobody ate it.my son wanted to go to the toilets and the place stunk and was just filthy which also gives you a view of their kitchen. I dont understand how OHS or Department of health hasn't come in there yet. I rarely to never leave bad reviews check my history.but this place was probably the worst Asian cuisine I have ever had.it's not the Hills BBq it was 5 or ten 10 ago.
You get a real dirty vibe in there I can't really explain it you need to see it.

I went there with the family for lunch, the cutleries were so dirty, the toilets discusting to go to as well.
I love Asian food but that was the worst food I ever had.
I had a soup and the broth tasted like it was plain water no taste at all.

Got a craving for something yummo

Have loved this place for decades! I always but my roast meats here to take to family dinners!

Cannot go past the crispy noodles with beef and vegetables! It is a my friends and family's go to quick, cheap and easy eat!
