Highway Kebabs

Such a consistently good, cheap HSPs. I don't know how they do it and at this point I don't think I care. Ridiculous meat to chip ratio, banging sauces and a stupid good spiced salt on the chips. Such nice service as well. I can't fault this joint. They have never missed. Not once.

I've been going here for years now, and it's still my favourite kebab for the price. I really love having chats with the workers if they're not too busy

I used to be a regular customer, would go very often. I understand the inflation and everything but lately the prices have gone up considerably and I have noticed last couple of HSPs, they are not as good as they were before, not as loaded as they were maybe a couple years ago. Not sure if its all the new staff they've put on or just reducing quantity to save costs.
Don't visit much now now but well wishes to the uncle in the glasses who runs the shop.

Love the food and service the kebab tast good and every thing looks nice and clean the staff is also supper nice and very gentle.

Went to Highway Kebabs on Thursday 13th July 2023 with a group of friends. We all ordered mixed kebabs as we have done in the past. All of us got food poisoning and all of us were vomiting for most of the night and could not go to work today. These are new owners and this place has gone down hill very fast since they took over. Highway kebabs used to be awesome. Not any more. Will never go back to this place. I suggest you up your game if you want to stay in business. Making people sick from your food is terrible and now very pleasant for the persons you made sick from your food. You might be getting a visit from the health department. Never AGAIN

This place was one of the best kebab shop around, since they have changed owners it has gone downhill ten fold, last night i got a mixed kebab expecting to have a good experience, but no i got food poisoning and threw it up at 4am very disappointing!

Great kebabs, order was ready in a couple minutes. Good and quick late night feed. Make sure you try the chippies too!

First time coming to highway kebabs was great, second time not so much.
My chips tasted as oily as anything and like they weren’t fresh, just little bits from the bottom of the fryer reheated.

The old gys he looks owner he is rude no polite. I went take order its no familiar place I came to the window and the way he said with his rude face I have bad feeling the way he said.

Used to be the best place to eat in Melbourne. Now, theyve increased prices aswell as decreasing portion sizes. They blamed an increase in operating costs while theyre hiring new staff? Truly an end of an era. RIP Highway Kebabs.

$14.50 for medium chicken HSP with cheese and 3 sauces (BBQ, garlic, chilli) under 5 minutes. You are losing money and time going to any other kebab joint. Food is tasty, chips are crunchy, portion is solid and you don't get charged extra for cheese and sauce.
