Stay away from this place! The most disgusting nail experience of my life, so dirty, unprofessional and money hungry.

I have never been to an Asian nail salon ever as I've always had my nails done in someone's home business. So I am very used to a level of professionalism, SANITATION and cleanliness that comes with pride in ones store.
I was blown away at how things are run in these stores. Absolutely filthy. You cant trick me with your "sanitised tool pack" that you just open up because the nail trimmers were completely RUSTED. The number of infections you can get from disgusting tools is endless.
Yes I was a walk in that had to get previous nails removed which were still in perfect condition from my previous nail lady. She would never dare file my nails down to paper and yet here we are. When mine were taken off they absolutely annihilated my nail bed! I got cut numerous times, the over heating on my nail bed was horrible. I didnt know what I was ordering because I've never had anything other than acrylic before. NO ONE SPEAKS ANY ENGLISH so you cant communicate and just the fact that the more they speak to each other in their mother tongue the more insecure I became being there. You never know whether you are being spoken about and I think that it just horrible. It was a horrible experience. You only need to hear what others say who actually understand what they are saying to know that they do talk about you regardless.
The shop is absolutely disgusting too.
Im only giving the extra star because I did get the Japanese Gel in the end which was nicely done, but I'll take the cudos on this because I know I have beautiful nail beds.
I saw a clinical podiatrist the evening after and had explained my situation. They are so perplexed at how they are able to run shops when the level of training they have to go through for their profession is almost laughed at by these shops where it looks like inhouse training is the only training provided. I think Doncaster shopping centre should be held more accountable as to who has shops there should be absolutely speaking English.
I'll never go back.ever.

Do not come here unless you want them to leave you with no nails. They employ untrained staff who do not understand simple requests, do not know how to use tools or provide service without physically injuring you. Stay away from this place.

I went there the very first day High’s opened and it was so gorgeous. I went again this week and it was in need of a spring clean. The urge to not grab a spray bottle and cloth was overwhelming! It’s not being maintained and looks uncared for and very dirty.
No one speaks English there so my nails are round instead of square due to therapist misunderstanding me.
Won’t be going there again.

Very disappointed with my first and last visit to Highs in Doncaster Westfield. I have my nails done, shellac on natural nails every second week and have never had a complaint with any of the numerous salons I've visited over the years.
Firstly the place is dirty and dusty with old nail clippings all over. The lady doing my nails was talking about me not wanting a manicure in her native language. I know this because she was tutting as cutting my nails and the word manicure was used and the others looked over at my hands as she tilted my nail towards them. She kept twisting my hand like I was holding it wrongly. I have never had this problem anywhere else. It was a very uncomfortable atmosphere. I was in a bit of a rush and just wanted them painting. She filed the old shellac off with a fast drill and it was hot and sore, my nails are now thin and weak. The colour she put on is nearly see-through and is really patchy and uneven. 100% needed another coat, it must have been watered down as 2 coats are normally enough. Worst place I have been in 7 years of having my nails done.

My wife had her nails done. They smudged after she left. They water down there nail polish which effects the cure. She came back the next day to get them done. They tried to water down the polish again. My wife insisted on another colour with not being watered down. Won't be going back there.

Somehow made every step of the way hurt, felt like if fast food was a nail salon,
i asked to not sand down my natural nail as much as they were, get a ‘i know’ and when i asked again got ignored.absolutely killed my natural nail and they were already thin but now they’re paper-thin and dried out.didn’t get asked if i was ok with the shape, length, thickness.at first didn’t even get asked what i wanted till they started (never been here before). Had to bring it up multiple times.cost of things never brought up till the end either.poor results every nail different shape and not smooth at all. 3 fingers drew blood

This was the first (& last) time I went to this salon since SNS at Doncaster closed down.
I had high hopes, but got told I couldn’t do all SNS for a simple French dip; had to do shellac on top. I usually avoid shellac due to the UV setting light.
Anyway, that aside, I was reasonably happy with the appearance of my nails (although it has this weird bubbly thing happening?) but the durability was absolutely terrible.
The first of my nails cracked off the next day, and now at 5 days after I had my nails done, 5 of my nails have cracked or completely come off.
It looks like only 1 layer of SNS was done and maybe 2 coats of shellac done on top.
For $80 I will not be bringing my business here again. An absolute waste of time and money.

Terrible. Extremely rude customer service, only focused on getting as many customers through the door as possible without any regard for timing or quality of service. The woman was extremely rough when she did my nails and they started breaking only a few days later. Do not come here.

Made an appointment, not on time，We made an appointment at 7 pm, but it hasn't started at 8: 30pm. What's the point of making an appointment?

Every time I booked a time, they made me wait more than 30 mins.very dirty and messy environment: (one of the staff even yell at customers …

I went in there and they made me waited for over an hour, the ladies were so rude in there, they ignore my request. They than proceed to do my nail in a different colour than i requested. They also left my hand extremely dried as I was soaking in the acetone for over 30min. This is totally unacceptable. I was so upset, PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS STORE TO GET ANY SERVICE.

My girlfriend waited for 15 mins at the desk waiting for customer service and not one of the 7 employees came over to ask what we needed even when they weren’t occupied. Terrible customer service I would not recommend coming here the employees don’t have any respect for there customers and they didn’t even say we needed to book before coming and didn’t let her know if she needed to book or anything they looked at us waiting for nearly 20 mins and didn’t say a thing.

I was served by Reece. She was wonderful. Took her time and was very gentle. My nails are perfect for my sisters wedding on Saturday. I even booked for my next appointment already. Can’t thank you all enough! ️

Had to tell the inexperienced girl to stop ‘trying’ to do my pedicure as she was making a mess of my toe nails. They got another more inexperienced girl to do it at that point I was totally over it and told them to stop! I ended up going elsewhere.

The lady Crystal directed another lady to remove my gel extensions and add new ones. Then after said it’s better to have kept them and quoted me to get new ones for $150. The moment I walked in, Crystal didn’t listen and threw different prices around after showing her multiple photos. I’m so annoyed as I have to spend hundreds of dollars to get my nails re-done. The gel nails came off the moment I got home. Suggest you go the nail place next door instead.

I got a fresh set of acrylics, perfect shape, nude colour, quite nice although the set didn’t last more than 5 days before it started to crack and chip in places. I know need to have my nails re done as this was more than one nail that needed repair.

I booked at 2pm for sns fast forward to 3: 20pm and still no one has approached to help fix my nails. And I had told them that I have work at 4pm they told me to wait.it shouldn't take 1 hour and 20 minutes to take someone to start on my nails. I got so mad that I walked out. If you don't have enough staff on a specific day then don't accept customers. And don't waste their time they have a life they need to go back to.

I am so disappointed with the quality of my sns nails also took more than 2 hrs. I had an appointment at 3: 40PM and left shop at 6: 10 PM. My set did not even last 2 days before they started cracking and lifting. They should last 2 weeks minimum. Just a waste of time and money.
