Korean chef, with great staff. They make awesome food which is always beautifully presented, he even makes his picked veg. We drive 40 min across regularly, always worth it.

Great food and coffee! This chef is one of the best, the whole team do an amazing job. This place is popular, recommend making a booking. Outdoor sitting is available in their garden, out the front and indoors too

Went for breakfast this morning and won't return. The food was awesome and the people at the counter were friendly but the person cooking needs to learn to keep their temper and not yell at the staff. It was one of the most uncomfortable breakfast experiences that I've had (and bear in mind its not cheap) as he kept yelling at the staff and has an open window (not that it makes it any better if there wasnt) to the dining area. Food was great but people should never be treated how he was treating them.

I’ve been here a couple of times now, and though it always seems to be busy they do a really nice job. Friendly service, the food is good (very generous portions too) and they have good kids’ options.

Lunched at Hicksborough Cafe on a wet and windy day today. Both of us
enjoyed our meal, and the coffee was great too! Will return soon.

My opinion food was delicious and service was good, staff was friendly, a very good and relaxed atmosphere.

8 of us went for lunch, waited an hour and a half for 7 meals to come out. Queried where the missing meal was (after a further 10 mins of waiting) advised they never had the order. When they realised their staff had put the order in as a takeaway and it was sitting there Stone cold they offered me a toasted sandwich deducted from my refund as a reorder would be placed at the end of the queue meaning a further 30 minute wait. Very disappointed at the treatment and response not to mention returning to work with no lunch.

Probably the busiest cafe in Wonthaggi, and so it should be, great service, friendly caring staff, great food, best bacon and egg rolls, lovely setting inside and out, a must try, does pay to book so as not to miss out.

I’ve lived not far from this cafe for over four years now and only went there for the first time today. I had the breakfast brioche bun. Looked great and tasted great too.
Good coffee to wash it down with.
Will definitely go back soon.

The Hickborough Big Breakfast was amazing. Loved every morsel. The beautiful backyard garden was lovely and the service is very welcoming and friendly.

Korean Fried Chicken burger is easily the best meal I have had in a long time. Absolutely delicious, will be back next time I’m in Wonthaggi!

The best Korean chicken salad I have ever had. Their house made cakes and slices are delicious and I have always had a great coffee.

Fantastic little gem. Very good coffee, everyone really impressed with the food and reasonable prices too. Decent vegetarian options. If I lived anywhere near this place I'd be coming often. Thumbs up for the calamari and Buddha bowl recommendations.

Friendly place with great food the Korea chicken is excellent, and the Bao yummy, when on the specials board. The homemade pies are sensational, and iced coffee.

Lovely staff, pleasant atmosphere and great food! The calamari salad is delicious! All cakes and slices are homemade as well. I had the Apple crumble slice and it was yummy!

Didn't enjoy my food that much, I'd say it was my pick. Nothing wrong with it but I didn't enjoy it. Service was slow and not much personality in the staff.

Amazing food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Have had the big brekky and buddha bowl there several times and it is consistently delicious!

Ordered the Budda Bowl and the Big Breakfast. Both were delicious and very generous serving sizes. Coffee and smoothie were great too.
