Hicks Shoes

Took my mum in to buy some shoes and had a great experience here. Murray was absolutely fantastic. They were so lovely and extremely knowledgeable and helpful, going the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the shoes. Would absolutely come back!

Was totally blown away by the service we experienced from Murray. Took my Mother in to find a pair of shoes that would suit her needs and was offered ongoing support. We were so grateful to have Murray who supported us and stayed well beyond the store hours to ensure we found the right pair of shoes. We can’t thank him enough and will definitely be back for our next pair of shoes.

My visits to Hicks always have a good outcome. I am not the easiest to fit and I find each and everyone most patient and kind. I have always chosen them for the best for my feet

Its a fantastic place to buy shoes, a real old fashion shoe store and the service is so good. Lots of stock to choose from.

The best! Today I bought women sneakers from this shop. The collection is amazing and the shop owner is one of a kind, he spent almost 20 minutes attending to me and helped me to choose a best fit for. He also researched one of the women sneaker I wanted and offered choices. Normally u don’t find anyone at the shoe store or no one helps or guides you. Visit this one and experience yourself. 10/10 for this one. Highly recommended.

My podiatrist suggested your store, looking at the window display and thought too many choices i never find anything but with Maddies expert help i found 2 pair of the best shoes i have ever owned, my podiatrist approved also, thank you Maddie and Hicks i will be back again

Wonderful shoe shop has been in Altona for over 50 years. They carry a huge selection of shoes from lots of top brands for men, women and children. Highly recommend.

It can get very busy because shoes and service are so good. Always 20% off full price shoes. Always lots of great specials. Definitely recommend.

Expert advice and service. Friendly and helpful. Huge range of quality footwear you have to visit the shop to see how they fit such a large range of stock. Stock is at reasonable and sale prices. Which means shop is usually busy and staff are able to serve more than one customer at a time.

Good old fashioned shoe shop! If you can't find the right shoes here something is wrong, they have a massive amount of shoes. Knowledgeable helpful friendly staff.

Despite the store being busy, all staff members made sure each customer would get served. I was after a large sized runner and Murray was able to pair me up with the perfect shoe.

Very rude service. Rushing me when trying on the shoes. I didn’t know that I couldn’t grab the shoes off the shelf and was told very aggressively not to touch the boxes.

Great place- a throwback to the old days. Take a step back in time and buy some shoes while you are at it!
