Excellent service from all staff. Came to take our order and regularly checked in. Hot rock steak was a great experience and the cold rock ice-cream for dessert was great! More than accommodating and we will be back! A+

I booked for lunch for my daughters birthday. When we arrived we were seated outside (9 of us, 4 adults, 3 young kids and 2 babies). We requested if we could please be moved inside as it was quite cold and we could see some free space. They said they couldn’t and put the small heater on. There was a table next to us with quite a few adults, and we then heard them asking to go inside due to the ‘chilly weather’. The staff then came out and accommodated their request, taking them inside. We then went inside and tried to ask again if we could be put inside due to the other group being moved, to which the staff replied the other group asked first (they definitely didn’t), they had already said no and if we weren’t ready to order we were to get outside. Shocked and unimpressed we decided to pack up and go elsewhere for lunch. Not happy with the service at all.

Had an amazing meal - only disappointment was I asked and paid for extra sauce and didn’t receive it. Also asked for chips only and there was absolutely the minimal amount of chips. The steak on the hot rocks was definitely an experience and will be back!

Helpful and friendly staff, attentive to us as diners. Meal was delicious and very generous-exactly what we needed after a massive day of MTBing! Also, booking online was a super easy process.

Worst steak I have ever been served, dry and tougher than a politician's heart, it was accompanied by lukewarm chips. Yes, I complained and was met with - nothing. Literally just a blank faintly displeased look.

Food was great and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and fantastic. Would recommend to all if staying in Bendigo.

Service was fast and friendly. The Hot Rock steaks are amazing. A friend enjoyed the lamb Souvlaki also cooked on the Hot Rock. Can't wait to visit again.also love the Cold rock desserts when I can fit them in.

The Hibernian was such an excellent experience for my son’s first birthday plus our engagement they went above and beyond to make sure the night went off with out any dramas beautiful food excellent venue I couldn’t fault how owl evening went thank you very much

If you want a good steak or some beautiful moist tender fried chicken I recommend you go here. Great friendly welcoming staff too it's a win win for us

Food was the best we have had over the last few weeks (dining at other restaurants around Bendigo & Castlemaine).
Staff paid attention to our needs and "jumped" before we said anything (drinks weren't right)!
We were very happy and we will be back again. Highly recommend to anyone that is after a good decent meal.

I had a Irish Parma with chips and salad. It was beautiful and plenty. The staff were great, service was great No complain from our table

Went here for date night and must say it was amazing. Food was great, atmosphere was perfect and service was quick. Definitely will be returning.

Wal makes a great parma. Went to school with him. What a legend. There's a photo of him on the menu. Killing it mate. Great pub, great staff, great food, great service. Very good.

Busy. Always seems to be crowded. Popular. Usually a good sign.
Fast and friendly service. Prices are average.
Not the hugest chicken Parma I've ever seen, but tasted great with added bacon. Ice creams look very appealing. Playground area for the kids, and adjoining motel.

Great service, nothing was too difficult for them, we had the most amazing succulent hot rock steaks, definitely would recommend. Celebrated my sons 20th birthday there.

Great beer on tap. A nice little beer garden and children's playground to keep them entertained.

Last weekend I dined at the hotel. Very very impressed with hot rocks steak. Eye fillet was great. I work in a hotel in Melbourne. Would like any information you could send about where the hot rocks can be purchased from.

Great place to pop into for a beer or meal. I was served by Stella who was super friendly and good to chat to. I had a steak which was cooked exactly how I asked for and very succulent. Good range of beers on tap also, including a new fave of mine: TWO SUNS. Small front bar but plenty of screens for the sports enthusiast and seemed to be kid friendly. All the staff were great and I'l definetly be heading back next time I'm in town.

Awesome place! Very lovely staff and good service. The stake on rock (hot rock) and the dessert on rock (frozen) was top notch! Enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely recommend for everyone especially families with kids. 5 stars from us

Best hot rock steaks here. Always wanted to try the cold rock deserts too but I'm always far tooooo full from the steak
