Not only did my *now husband* propose with one of their engagement rings. When we went back to pick out wedding bands they were able to match them perfectly AND resize them perfectly. We are absolutely obsessed with our beautiful rings.

At first we thought it was a nice place. I bought a set of earrings that were close to $300 with the warranty. After a few months of having them they become weak, even though I only wore them a handful of times, and suddenly just crumbled in my hand as I was taking them off. My partner went down to see if there is a way to fix them but the shop owner disregarded him saying how can we fix this it’s clearly not fixable. The earrings were only in 2 halves on each, what is the point of the warranty for a pair of earrings if you can’t fix them if they only split in 2. The owner was very cruel to my partner and kept raising his voice saying “I’ve been working in this for 60 years, look at this look at this” being extremely cocky with all the gold he owns on his body. This is extremely unprofessional and no way to respond to a customer who is simply just asking if there is a way to fix it. Very disappointed with this place and would never recommend it, they are just trying to take your money.

The pieces are so unique and of such good quality. Chris has great taste in selecting his jewellery pieces and a great eye for detail. And the items are well priced. Five star service! Absolutely horrible customer service. Shop owner was screaming at me for coming one hour early to pick up my watch. Super rude, will never be back again.

Took my Certina watch in to have the battery changed. That was done in about 15 minutes. I noticed later that the second hands were ever so slightly out of alignment after the battery change. I took the watch back and H&H were more than happy to rectify that. No charge, no arguments. It took a couple of days to get it back, but no big deal. They were also very upfront about the dangers of changing batteries and not pressure testing the watch. Appreciated that.

Had a really great experience at H&H. This was my real first experience purchasing fine jewellery. I was after a special gift for my friend. Chris (sales advisor) assisted me and was very patient and explained to me top down on the style, materials and things to consider. I found his manner very respectful and professional.

I had very good experience here. I purchased 1 Crt size diamond ring from Chris the owner, and he gave me the best deal with highest quality. They are also very reliable and friendly people.

I asked for a new battery and band for my Mum’s watch. Was quoted $30 for battery and $50 for band. I accepted quote, and when I returned to pick up watch, I was told watch wasn’t working. I asked how much to fix. Quoted $245, upon which I decided not to proceed. Went to another jewellery shop and they replaced battery and band for $48, and the watch was working. Wow. H&H should be ashamed of themselves.

Wonderful store with fantastic service, product range and prices. Family has been shopping here for decades. Chris the owner is a top bloke and super knowledgeable. Best store in Melbourne.
