Heywood Bakery reviews
28 Had a chunky beef pie, a long John donut and a flat white coffee, enjoyed the lot.
I wish I was able to pass through here more often.

I like this place and the house is beautiful. I love Mount Gambier. Its the first time that I have been here.
One of the best bakery's in Vic. We were helped by a lovely lady with such a great attitude, the variety of goodies on offer was fabulous. Fresh fantastic bee sting slice, luscious cream filled lamington, delicious ham and salad rolls and excellent coffee. Thank you for our extra little treat, delish?
Best customer service
Beautiful staff
Food is delicious
Highly recommend calling there
Love the coffee
Thank you for your great service
Fresh bread, desserts, sandwiches.
Love it
Found this lovely spot early in the morning for our first coffee for the day. Travelling through… polite service, good coffee, large range of fresh baked goods.
(Covid.) large open store with well spaced inside tables plus outside tables. Good quality coffee and coffee scroll (my standard). Unexpectedly low prices as someone completing a Round Australia trip and used to much higher inland/outback prices.
What is NOT to like about this country town bakery? Such a wonderful array of eats in this little country town
The Heywood Bakery is potentially the best Bakery in the Western District area of Victoria The standard range of pies are great & they also have exceptional quality banana bread Fresh bread & rolls, cakes & slices, salad rolls & also some Asian lunch dishes available for takeaway
Great place hadn't been in for years and really enjoyed my visit. Great array of food beautifully displayed and looked mist appetising.
Bad picture sorry but more than you would expect at a bakery. Friendly staff great food stop buy to help out the community in a small town
I cannot pass through town without a visit to this bakery. I'm never disappointed. Love the pizza pies & dagwood dogs. Yummo
Great foods, coffee was excellent. Comfortable surrounds, nothing to criticise. We grabbed a couple of fry-rice with honey chicken takeaway for dinners (yummi)
Will be back for next holiday.
Friendly staff Love the Pies and Cakes etc Large eating area indoors to sit and meet up with Family and Friends
Big and busy, of regular baked stuff.
Sangers, pies and sugar with cream.
Nice staff
The girl who served us provided very average service, she's definitely in the wrong industry.our order was stuffed up and we had to ask for the rest of it.the child sausage roll tested like dog food, in fact I don't think the dog would eat it.very disappointing experience should have gone somewhere else.
This is classified as small chips for $4.50.they were cold and only 20 chips in the box, so each chip was $. 22 each.not good value!
Places like this are the lifeblood and soul to small towns. No matter what you pick you will find yourself ready to come back for more. Its not fancy inside but who cares you are there for a pie. Stop by on your way through and support wonderful businesses like this.
