I was after a 1" fire hose nozzle, which they didn't have. The staff member was extremely helpful and suggested a few places I could try nearby. 3rd time lucky at Midland Irrigation. Despite them not having what I was after, it was a positive experience and I will definitely go back again. They ha e a wide range of supplies. (They did have a 19 mm nozzle but I wanted a 25 mm one.)

Thank you to Damien and Mark who for years have provided exceptional service. We have had our lawn mower serviced for years and also purchased a new one when our first mower had reached it's used by date.

Damien and mark are professional, knowledgeable, honest and extremely efficient and such lovely gentlemen who provide outstanding service both in person and over the phone.

Great service. As I briefly walked to the counter at the rear of the store I did notice a wide variety of products to suit rural/farming & city customers. Eg we live in the city and purchased a 25 kg bag of blood & bone and a 25 kg bag of lawn fertiliser at prices we haven't found elsewhere in Ballarat. Unfortunately, we were advised the store doesn't stock a fertiliser specifically designed for garden beds/flowers & shrubs which was disappointing. Who knows if enough customers ask for it they may get it in and we may be able to purchase it in bulk from Hewitt & Whitty cheaper than we can elsewhere.
I also noticed cleaning products in bulk quantities. I dont know if they had been delivering product or not, but noticed "The Cleaners Room" van leaving as we drove out, so maybe compare prices at both places prior to purchasing cleaning products.
The male staff member who served us loaded the heavy bags we purchased onto a trolley, wheeled them to our car, then loaded them into the boot for us.
We will be back to see what else they stock when we have more time to browse.
