As a relatively new client, I have found Chris Morcom and his colleagues at HPW to be approachable, friendly and above all, concerned and knowledgeable. The results have been well above average and altogether it’s been a good experience.

We have used Hewison PW to manage our SMSF for approx. 6 years dealing with Glenn Fairbairn over that time.
What we like about Hewisons is that they are not affiliated with any financial institution and Glenn's advice is always tailored to our needs and follows the strategies set up and agreed when we first transferred to them.
In addition you deal with an client advisor who is an owner/director of the company and therefore a long term relationship is developed. We have found this to be very beneficial to us
They have a clients portal which gives us access and reports on all our investments in what is almost real time, so we can monitor performance and cashflows as we require. This is vastly different from our previous advisors who were tied to a third party system where reports would be far from clear and up to 6 weeks behind.
Meetings with Glenn have been set at about 3 - 4 per year, as we find this works for us, but this is entirely up to the client. Apart from this any queries are dealt with promptly, either by phone or email and a full Statement of Advice is given if any change of holdings are suggested.
All holdings are held in our names, either through the SMSF or our private portfolio's and you thus have total control as you must authorise any sale or purchase.
Hewison's charge a Fee for Service which is explained & agreed up front when your strategy & Financial plan are developed & put in place. This is quite transparent, which was not the case with our previous advisors and can be seen quite clearly in the client portal.
In addition our Accountant has a direct link with Hewison PW making preparation of taxation & regulatory returns very straightforward saving us a lot of work.
Overall we would highly recommend Hewison PW, and Glenn Fairbairn in particular, for anyone needing Financial advice and/or management of an SMSF or private investment portfolio.
