Heritage Retreat and Day Spa

Their booking system appears to be broken and let's you book for any day even though they seem to only operate on Fridays and Saturdays currently. Best to call in to book rather than online like I did.

Even after we booked online and got a confirmation email that the appointment was accepted the booking was not honoured. The spa didn’t even tell us about it, we called them from the way - half way there - and they said to come another day. Not professional, no communication.

Great location service and one of the best use of stone massages I have had in a very long time.

We did the 3 hour couple package and really enjoyed it. The treatment was so relaxing, they did a great job, I'd highly recommend this package, thank you so much!

I had the most wonderful hour-long massage. It was one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had many). Lovely calm environment and respectful staff.

My friend and I had missed out on spending our birthdays together so I wanted to do something special. My friend has never been one for massage but thought I would try again because it had been a stressful year. We had the best time at Heritage Day Spa and she couldnt believe how much she adored her massage. I had Annie and she had Rebecca. Everything was perfect and the space was well set up and extremely peaceful.
We felt so lucky to have had such incredible skilled therapists and would never go anywhere else for a special relax day together. It's now going to be our regular getaway.

Came in today for my birthday and couldn’t have chosen a better place! Impeccable service, extremely relaxing atmosphere and the girls were amazing, thank you Annie for the best massage I’ve ever had! Feeling so refreshed, definitely coming back!

I got the full body restore and relaxation massage. The therapist was professional and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I left feeling very relaxed! I would highly recommend.

I have been a loyal customer for a long time. The whole experience improve a lot since this year. Very friendly new staff and amazing treatments! No. 9 Signature Treatment definitely worth a try!

Booked weeks in advance and get told days out that they can no longer see us. Booked accommodation nearby specifically because of the location to this place and now will have to travel further out. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Stay far away from ever booking with this company. I booked a couples massages weeks prior to our appointment for a date night booked specifically to stay at Yarra Valley Lodge. 2 days before our appointment I get a text message, not a phone call, a text message from the "Manager" saying she cannot accommodate our appointment anymore as she has only herself working and we can cancel or have them separate.

I asked her if we could reschedule the day or time to either the Saturday or Sunday. She stated she only has herself working on both days as her employees had all cancelled on her.

I told her she had weeks to plan for these appointments and 2 days notice is simply not good enough and via text message is so unprofessional. I called Yarra Valley Lodge to let them know how dissapointed we were. Unfortunately they said that the Day Spa is a separate entity to YV lodge and nothing can be done.

I wish i had done my research prior to booking and can see this Spa has terrible reviews for Management. My husband and I get couples massages regularly and i have never ever come across such unprofessional and poor management. Stay far away.

The most unprofessional place I have ever had to deal with.
I got a voucher from my partner for my birthday last year and thought it was time to use it and treat myself. Called the number online, disconnected. Called the number on the voucher, disconnected! Called at least another 3 numbers that were linked with heritage as a whole and they were all disconnected. After sending 3 online enquiries I finally get a mobile number to contact someone on. When I called to book my appointment I was told that she will call me back in half an hour as she was on a train and for me to send a text message with my preferred appointment, day and time! Didn’t hear back from her until I called her again the next day and got told again to send a text message.
First up, the person I was messaging was only interested in my voucher number and not the appointment I was trying to book. Then after countless messages I was told I couldn’t even book in for the treatment I wanted as it was ‘too long’ when I was just going off the treatment menu that was attached to my voucher.
After 37 messages I finally had my appointment booked.
Turned up today at 1pm for my appointment only to be told she had booked it in for 1: 45 and wasn’t even there yet.sat in the members lounge waiting for my appointment and then decided this whole process was totally ridiculous and decided I wanted to speak with the general manager of Heritage to get a refund as I didn’t feel comfortable getting a treatment from this lady as she had informed me that she is the day spa manager and the one who conducts all the treatments!

The facilities at the retreat and dayspa aare fantastic. Pool, gym and sauna are all available to use before and after a dayspa treatment. The treatment rooms are warm and welcoming. A great place all round.

I had a Therapeutic Massage today by the therapist Anita, I would like to say what an amazing job she did. I left there feeling so relaxed and struggling to stay awake.
I will be going back there again for my next massage. I will also be recommending my friends to come here and enjoy the rest of the facilities.
