Amazingly fresh and fragrant food, decent serving sizes. Well priced for the quality fresh product!

While the ambiance may not have been the most inviting, the food certainly met our expectations, especially considering it was one of the few open on a public holiday. Appreciate the hard work of the staff during the holiday. Good job!

A lovely family run place, I felt at home as soon I stepped in.
They grow their own vegetables, they have their own chickens, and make the most delicious homemade Vietnamese food,

Food was mostly delicious but disappointed to discover rice is now extra. The cost of the dish was unchanged, so was expecting a little more meat (rendeng) but serving was roughly half the size of a standard portion.
BBQ pork noodle portion was equally disappointing - cooked well, but plain, no sauce. Again, more like an entree size.

Understand that businesses need to review their costs, especially in challenging economic times. Perhaps need consider better ways to increase cost without customer feeling like their paying more for less? Sorry guys!

We were excited to try this restaurant on a weekend away. Very disappointed. We have dined at many Vietnamese restaurants but this didn’t seem authentic. Very basic flavours in both the pho and chicken curry.

Terrible. Came here for dinner, we got beef pho, beef randang, spring rolls and fried dumplings. All were really disgusting, you could tell everything had been microwaved or pre cooked it was foul.
I couldn't eat my pho at all for fear of it making me sick
$90 for lukewarm stale food is insane.

Wow, what a delightful meal we had at this most amazing find. Vietnamese food with a Malaysian hint with the offering of Laksa, beef rendang and traditional fare like Pho.
Outstanding steam dumplings with a home made soy! Best I've had.

We'll be back for the Polish cheesecake, which happens to be home made by host, Rob's own mother.

Wonderfully surprising to find authentic Vietnamese comfort food in Daylesford. It was a welcome change from the usual pizza/pasta offerings on the main strip. The crunchy prawn with matcha was a great starter. The pho and broken rice mains were as good as what we can get in Melbourne. Washed down with their hot home-brewed tea and finished with a flan for dessert. Service was warm and friendly from start to finish. Will definitely come back next time we visit Daylesford.

Outstanding food and service in this little secret spot tucked away behind the RSL. Trum’s authentic cooking is such a find in Daylesford! Can’t wait to come again.

Newly opened family run small business who grow their own veg and herbs. Every single thing we ordered was amazing, soooo yum cooked exactly how my Mum and grandma would’ve made it back home, right down to the nuoc mam recipe. So so good. We were so impressed and can’t wait to go back. Top notch, traditional, delicious stuff - highly recommend!

Bit hard to find off the street - walk into the RSL down the corridor on the left, you’ll see the sign on the door. Be prepared for the best Viet iced coffee, crispy pork belly and grilled lemongrass chicken of your life

The food here is fresh and delicious. Loved the the jumbo spring rolls and pork belly salad. Super quick service!

Oh my goodness, we just had the most delicious lunch here. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Daylesford.

The RSL has a good Vietnamese restaurant with proper seating and ambient atmosphere. We tried the Laksa, curry and Wonton soup. The serving size was decent and food was delicious. Must try if in Daylesford.

Pork belly salad was to die for! The dressing was lick the bowl delicious. Plus the special tea was great. A simple little place at the back of the RSL but delivers the goods for flavour.

What a great little find in the heart of daylesford. Fresh, delicious and great value. We had the most amazing steamed dumplings, beef rendang and chicken curry. So many beautiful flavours and hints of fresh herbs. We are now thinking of grabbing takeaway for our trip back to Melbourne on Tuesday. Well done. Highly recommended.

Amazing Laksa with a great chilli kick for winter, even better than the “famous” one in Flemington which has since declined in quality. Beef Rendang was also excellent in flavour, though more sauce with the rice would have been warranted. Small issue though as the rice was perfectly soft and fluffy!

Delicious food, laid back environment. Be sure to walk through the side door at the RSL so you don't miss it.

A hidden gem, tucked away in the RSL, from the outside looks very unassuming but the food looks and tastes amazing. Fresh and delicious, with a glorious mix of spices and friendly staff to top it off. Will definitely be back! A must try!

We arrived to the counter expecting to be assigned a table but they said "please wait here" and the waiter man he offered a table and menu to people that arrived after us (with no reservarion either) and then the senior man told us that no more tables were available as all already booked. It is not fair that they did not give us the only table available for walks in. The senior not provided apologies. I noticed he doesn't have good manners and probably not experience. Terrible experience.

I had best Laksa of my life here, so much so that I needed to order the second night. The customer service was incredible, to the point what when I called on the second night, Rob answered by call by saying Goodevening Erika. Great attention to detail, and genuine authentic feel from the staff. If I am excited to visit when I return to Daylesford.
