Hepburn Distillery

Absolutely lovely experience at Hepburn Distillery! The staff were so welcoming and we loved trying the gins and vodka, My partner got an old fashioned, not knowing the liquor was the oak cask vodka and was absolutely speechless! He loved the vodka and thought it tasted like an amazing whiskey! Had a good laugh with the staff about this and ended up ordering some online!

Awesome gins (and other spirits). The Trentham gin is my favourite, although the Tenrai as great for something a bit different. Make sure you get the bon bons at Xmas too, much better to get gin or vodka than a cheap toy in a cracker, especially if the in-laws are at lunch!

We had a sensational gin and vodka tasting here. The staff were so knowledgeable about the whole process and the passion they have for gin and vodka is evident. We were lucky enough to taste some world class drinks. Would highly recommend a visit if you are looking to learn something about distillery.

The potato vodka bought my dad back to his younger days of drinking deliciously smooth, organic alcohol made by farmers in his hometown - a taste he says he hasn’t been able to find ever since migrating here. An extremely high and well deserved compliment.

This was easily my favourite distillery tour I've done. Basil has gone to lengths to make it all really engaging and really give you a feel for the process and decisions that went into their spirits, more than just a "here are the ingredients, here's a still". We found Hepburn Distillery by chance and was delighted that it was so close to Trentham. Basil the owner was a perfect host showing our group of 4 through his distillery and the process of Gin and Vodka making. The tastings were enlightening and great local product. Good work Basil we will be back another day.)

I'm a red wine drinker, but I'm now a gin drinker, too. Hepburn Springs Distillery, thank you for opening me up to the experience of spirits. It tastes like I am drinking the aroma. That's what I love most about it, straight.

I love everything about their product. The Premium Gin is so delicious, it’s the only gin I enjoy on it’s own without tonic. From the label to the delicious ingredients, everything is beautiful, high quality and unique. We had some for my brothers birthday and it really gave us the special occasion feeling we were hoping for. Can’t wait for my next order to arrive.

The premium potato vodka is super smooth and fantastic mixed or over ice. I personally loved the gin, it is the first that I have been able to enjoy straight and not mixed into a cocktail. Can not recommend highly enough.

Wonderful gin that is good enough to drink straight! And made by people with their whole heart and soul from locally sourced organic produce. A total winner. No other gin needed.
