Henna Fish & Chips

Chose to get our fish n chips from Henna Fish n Chips as a couple of family members were craving fresh quality flat head tails. Another family member was wanting a fully loaded Steak Sandwich including Aussie favourites - beetroot and pineapple.
Everything was yummm! The chips were particularly good. Fresh oil with no nasty after taste. Flathead Tails were delicious and Steak sandwich was 10/10.
New owners and today was their first day of trade. Very friendly.
Wishing them every success particularly if they continue to provide excellent quality fish n chips.

I only go to this fish shop I think it's the best in warrnambool so hopefully you can earn my trust n go to henna fish & shop

Just got $5 chips and it looks like barely even a minimum chips. Isn’t the first time it’s happened but this is ridiculous.

Never again will I go here. $8 of chips more like $4. Asked for chicken salt and go no salt at all. Chips were horrible.

Their food choices are great they even have vegie dim sims the only 1 in Warrnambool and a few other nice vegie selections like their vegie burger and staff are really nice and easy to talk to and always have a chat.
There fish is nice and I can't fault them

We chose the flat head tails, crumbed prawns, deep fried scallops and minimum chips. They were busy, but the wait was worth it. Very crisp, fresh and tasty

I just had the worst hotdog ever with a measly bit of cheese abit of sauce no onions just pathetic a 3 yr old would do much better will never go there again

A favourite fish'n'chip shop for me. Fish fried how I like it, chips are good and always good potato cakes. Plus plenty of other options available too.

First time going for tea for a family of five here. Food was well over cooked. Nuggets were dry and shrivelled, the Chico rolls were dry and burnt. And the potato cakes were burnt and hardly any potato in them. Chips for $5 were not enough for 1 person let alone a family. When I called and complained they said to bring it back and they would remake. When I got there the manager said nothing wrong with it and that’s how they cook it. So if you want chips ask for undercooked.
When I returned home with the second batch they were the same and burnt and full of oil. Absolutely disgusting. I called again and the manager said to bad we cooked it twice and refused to listen to my complaint and then banned us from the shop and hung up on me after saying they have the best reputation in Warrnambool.not that we will ever go there again. Rude, arrogant manager with disgusting food. Disgraceful

Best potato cakes ever! Really friendly service and delicious food. Highly recommend the burgers and potato cakes.

Crappy oil frytol is crap all the fish&chip shops in Warrnambool use frytol the only shop that uses sunflower oil is in Geelong Geelong has fish and chips shops that use different oils for cooking not just frytol

Very disappointed, the chips were undercooked and some raw, the dim sims were undercooked and don’t ever get a souvlaki from there! There was no taste and the sauce was watery. Not happy.

The man who served us was so bubbly and down for a chat which was really nice, extremely quick at cooking the food and the best tasting chips in Warrnambool, really affordable prices aswell! We have been coming here for years each time we are on holiday I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Friendly staff food was average the flake was dry the souvalaki wasn't the best I've had. Chips were nice and crunchy

Great potato cakes and delicious flake. Love the crispness of their "home made food" and especially their batter. Pretty busy, so Pretty popular.

Friendly service as soon as you walk in. We'll looked after in our order and the best darn potato cakes ever. Thanks for a great lunch for our mini roadtrip

The chips were OK but to charge $1.00 for $5.00 purchase when using a debit card is a rip off. Won't be back

I think its great that when they cook their products (fish, chips & potato cakes), they're cooked enough to have the firm crispy cooked batter that I like. Personally I prefer to be able to hold my cooked fish and eat it without it flopping about due to the soggyness of the batter.yuk! No one else who does fish n chips in warrnambool does it as good as them.
