Hemley House - Luxury in Halls Gap, Grampians

Wonderful weekend in a beautiful home. Spa was certainly the highlight after hiking & wintery weather. So close to town you can walk everywhere. Private & everything you need.

A great detail of effort has been put into making sure you have a welcoming and wonderful stay. The house has everything you need and all at a high standard. We stay in a lot of holiday rentals and I couldn't fault this one. Layout, furnishings and location are excellen. Cathy is quick to respond and provides ample information including instructions and labels within the house to help.

A wonderful property. We recently stayed for 10 nights. It's a home away home. Truly comfortable, very clean with all the conforts required.

Cosy, clean place. Everything provided. Can do cooking, they have washing machine n dryer. Most of all, a very good complimentary bottle of Seppelt wine. The scenery at the front porch was beautiful, a lot of kangaroos in the morning, emus, occasional deer. Spa as well.

Lovely house, comfortable, clean, great location, beautiful views, and the vouchers for local businesses was a nice touch. Great communication with Cathy. Hemley House is highly recommended

This was a beautiful stay. It allowed a comfortable space for gathering as well as privacy. The house was very well kitted-out; our only suggestion is the addition of a simple teapot with strainer. We were on a cycling and walking trip - there were great tracks around - and we enjoyed having the laundry and the spa after big treks and long rides. We also had regular visits from wildlife - birds, kangaroo, deer. Our host was helpful and she was kind amidst COVID regulations. We would recommend this stay and would consider it again.

My wife and I stayed at Hemley House for 5 days, such a lovely and quiet spot, fully equipped kitchen, with BBQ, outdoor Spa and terrific view of the Grampians. Walking distance to the local Pub and shops. Wildlife is amazing, Kangaroos, Cockatoos and Deer in your backyard. Cathy the owner was very accomodating and we will definitely be back.

We could not speak highly enough of our accommodation at Hemley House with our family. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, foxtel on TV was a bonus too for the kids and the footy loving men! Loved the outdoor deck with spa! You wouldn't know you were so close to the town center, it was such a quiet and secluded spot with beautiful views. BBQ was great to use, as were the indoor appliances. Thank you, we had a wonderful weekend stay!

Hemley House is situated in a picturesque location, only a 2 minute walk to the centre of town, not that you will want to actually leave the property. Everything has been thought of, from a bathroom that includes everything even make up remover wipes, to a telly in each room for quiet moments, a kitchen with every utensils and piece of cookware you could think of, a couch you may never want to get out of and a spa that looks across the landscape and mountains plus don’t forget the attentive host who is quick to respond. You will wish you booked longer. Thank you Cathy for our first getaway this year. It was wonderful xx

My family & I (2A & 2C) stayed at Hemley House recently and absolutely loved it! Upon arrival there was numerous Wallabies in the backyard eating which werent startled by our presence at all. The surrounding enviroment and ambience of the house made it so easy to unwind. We loved the spa, open plan living and gas log fire, plus the house was stocked with sufficient resources to make it easy to enjoy a long stay with family. Also walking distance to the town centre which is great during busy periods where parking may be hard. Thanks Cathy! Cannot wait to return soon.

Such a beautiful spot, the outlook is perfect. Loved the spa and they went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed.

Great location house was great to but the little things matter sometimes
Every piece of crockery had a chip in it there were no champagne glasses and odd wine glasses.
The BBQ certainly wasn’t the one pictured on the website.
If these little things are fixed then it’s luxury at its best

Our group of 5 had a ball staying at Hemley House. We relaxed in the outdoor spa, had an evening around the fire pit and enjoyed the stunning Halls Gap views from the deck & indoor dining area. The local wild life, wallabies, deer, ducks & kookaburras all came to visit during our stay. And the shops were just a short stroll through the back paddocks!
The house itself is beautiful and we were kept toasty in the cool mornings by the beautiful indoor gas fireplace. The bathrooms are gorgeous and the bed linen is luxurious. Hemley House is an all round lifestyle destination stay in Halls Gap!

We had a great stay at Hemley House. Central location with wonderful facilities. The scenery and wildlife were stunning!

Hemley House was a wonderful setting for a romantic getaway. Especially watching the moon from the spa. The house is beautifully presented and well equipped. We will definitely be back.
P. S. The daily visits from kangaroos and Emus were a real Aussie treat!

We had a fantastic stay - would definitely recommend. A comfortable, high quality property in a great location. We loved the hikes and vineyard visits during the day, followed by evening relaxing in the hot tub watching the kangaroos.

Beautiful home, so well appointed with quality fittings and furnishings. Fabulous location looking out to wetlands and mountains with a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. Cathy is a welcoming and generous host. We loved our stay in Halls Gap and look forward to returning to Hemley House soon. The spa on the deck and the fire pit surrounded by seats were great extras, as were the complimentary wine and coffee. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Stay hear with a group of mates for a mates 30th.
It was a fantastic place, nice size with plenty of room for all of us.
Spent the weekend playing board games and relaxing in the amazing hot tub.
Just a short walk (2 min) to shops for ice cream and walk up the pinnacle.
Lots of utensils and cooking gear to cook what ever u want including a BBQ out side and an amazing deck to eat on.

Beds bedding and towels all provided and of high standard and comfy.
Bath rooms are amazing especially the ensuite, could not get over how nice that was.
One improvement that could be done is a lock on the main bathroom but that's getting picky.
Over all it was an amazing experience and will hopefully definitely be back with my wife and kids.
Highly recommend this place.

We were gifted a long weekend stay at this beautiful Home. Cathy was a fantastic host. Everything was presented beautifully and very tasteful. A complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The kitchen has everything you need if you wish to cater for yourself. The views are exceptional. The deck spa is a wonderful addition. Even in winter it was beautiful and peaceful sitting out in the warm spa. Beds are extra comfy. Home is pristine & in a great location in the heart of Halls Gap. Hemley House is very warm and inviting. We highly recommend Hemley House for a weekend, a few days or a week. You won’t be disappointed!

What a beautiful treat to stay at Hemley house. Superbly presented lovely outlook comfortable and very homely. Loved the Jacuzzi and the kangaroos in the back garden. Lovely welcome with a bottle of wine from the local winery and so nice to stay in a home with quality furnishings.
