Hello Hello Plants & Garden Supplies reviews
65 They are selling the pot not plant.
Ordered 6 inch pots with tiny plants.
Ridiculous!
BTW, very rude custom service.
Huge nursery with competitive pricing! Not super pram friendly due to the uneven gravel grounds and slim walkways, would recommend bringing your bub in a carrier while you browse!
We went and did a design consultation with Chris. This was a great opportunity to explore new ideas with a knowledgeable expert. The process was easy and we left having a clear idea of the design of our front yard. Pricing on offer was great also.
In leading up to my delivery my husband was able to put in a phone call to chat to Chris and the team who were more than happy to answer all our questions. The delivery worked to our schedule and we had Chris come out to help with plant layout. It was amazing to see him work and bring our vision to life. Appreciated all his time and effort. We opted for a variety of cottage plants and some trees. All were great quality and very happy with the outcome overall.
Still waiting on delivery from 15 June not at all happy.plants had better be worth it l had to ring 3times to find where order was.apparently waiting on one plant.why not substitute for another variety it's an ornamental pear never again have told everyone and will be going elsewhere on future even
if l have to pay more
Friendly service, good price. I don't expect the best quality plants from a bulk wholesaler unless visit the nursery myself. Some flower stalks and leaves damaged during transport. But I like challenges, remove the wilted leaves, top up spilt soil. Not too hard. Most of the plants need to transfer to ground, looking forward to my tropical themed garden corner and a camomile garden. Will be appreciated if you can send a email or message one day before delivery, not only 7 minutes prior.
DON'T GIVE THEM MONEY UNLESS THE ITEM YOU WANT IS IN YOUR HAND!
I went on their website to look for a particular plant and it said the plant was not in stock, however it had an option for leaving your email and they will contact you when the plants are in stock.
About one month later I received an email proudly spruking the good news that the plant I wanted was now " IN STOCK! ".
It also said to "be quick, to ensure your stock".
So, reading this, I did act quick like they said and purchased online four of the variety.
I selected click and collect.
So, they have stock, they accepted my payment and they said that they will send me a text when they have my plants ready to collect.
They also sent me a receipt for my credit card payment.
All good you'd think.
Well, two weeks went by and I still haven't heard from Hello Hello.
So, I rang them.
When I rang I asked how long until a click and collect is ready, the woman then kinda told me off, saying ". YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR US TO CONTACT YOU! ", I managed to get a word in and inform her I've been waiting two weeks.
She then went "Oh, that's not right, I'll transfer you. I have her the order number.
I was then transferred to the online orders area and was told, "Oh, sorry.the plants you wanted are not in stock. (and). We don't know when or if we will get them".
I said, hang on, your website said that " good news.in stock! ", I also said that they accepted payment and that they will contact me when they have them ready.
She said. "Sorry, computer problem".
Pathetic.
What Hello Hello did was false advertising and taking people's money under false pretenses.
I demanded my money back, to which they did.
Why didn't Hello Hello contact me to say I've paid for an item that they told me was in stock when it actually wasn't and that my money must be refunded?
The fact they didn't proves they had no intention and just wanted money for no goods.
Unless you go into the nursery and actually buy it there, be VERY CAUTIOUS OF THEIR ONLINE STORE!
FURTHER UPDATE: We received an email on 15/11 saying they will check with the accounts department and get back to us 'hopefully today', predictably it was 3 days later and also the same day we wrote this review, they apologised, stating they refunded the incorrect order! Also their supplier potted the plants into 8” pots and wont be available for 4 weeks. We were then offered those at the same price but declined as e planned to them, we’ve ordered them from someone else who had given up a guaranteed delivery. I reiterate…find another nursery and save yourself the dramas.
EDIT: ONE THING I NOTICED AFTER DOING THIS REVIEW WAS THE NUMBER OF FIVE STAR REVIEWS THAT HAVE NEVER REVIEWED ANYONE ELSE BEFORE, INTERESTING…. Where do I start! We ordered 30 plants (web site indicated they were available), this is well over $400 worth. NOTHING happened. Hubby rang and spoke to a fellow who said they had been dispatched. Hooray, we’ll get them any day now, but no! Another week passes and we emailed but no one responded.
We emailed again…nothing. I rang and spoke with Tania, who when I reiterated the saga informed me they hadn’t even arrived as they were having trouble sourcing them. I explained to her that it’s not best to lie to the customer and we don’t mind as long as you tell the truth and keep us informed…. You have had almost $500 of our money for almost a month now. She also babbled on about suppliers telling her they have plants then they give them to other places (completely irrelevant when your web site says IN STOCK and frankly not my problem as the customer, another lie perhaps? She did then apologise and offered my money back, I said well I’d rather have the plants and she said she’d look into it and keep me informed, she rang me back 2 days later to say they were on back order and should not be too long but she would keep us informed. We were happy with that and as I explained, as long as you do keep us informed, that’s all we ask.
A couple of days later we get an email out of the blue telling us we have been refunded! No sorry, kiss my butt or explanation of any kind.
This is not how you run a business and it’s very uncool to take someone’s money then ignore them until THEY HAVE TO FOLLOW UP THEMSELVES! We are both gobsmacked by the level of service (or lack of) but we certainly won’t be buying from you again or recommending you to anyone.
Very, very disappointing experience and we would say to those thinking about buying plants from you…. DON'T….
Super speedy and easy service. Friendly delivery guy with great communication and awesomely healthy plants. Well done. Highly recommended!
I bought about $3500 worth of plants from hello hello recently.
They arrived in horrendous condition.
- lambs ears half dead. I got the same from Bunnings… Bunnings was much better.
- other plants bought in size of pot turned out to be reported into a larger pot. Potting mix fell away as it came out of the pot.
Very disappointing experience. Last time I buy garden plants online.
Excellent service from.meg, helped me with a double hibiscus plant i had been looking for, for ages.
Thank you, 10/10 service
I ordered a plant for my wife, for her 50th birthday and i told ar the time my address in south Australia, and then 2 days later i got a email saying they wanted more money to ship it to me and the price they quoted was way over the top ($200 to $400) for a $79 plant, not happy
The 12 barer rooted trees I got became infected with black fungus immediately after purchase, if they weren't already infected beforehand. I wrote to the customer support asking for help and 9 days later have heard nothing. Trees continue to look unhealthy / die. $600 and all that time down the drain.
EDIT: Customer support got back to me and they are replacing all the trees that are infected. Not an ideal scenario, but I can't reasonably ask for much more. Changing stars to reflect.
Update: The plants have been replaced with much better quality plants.
Order 196099 - see the pictures below of the Blueberry Ash that they sent me. These were clearly not staked during their growth and they had the temerity to send these to paying customers. I emailed them with the photos and a request for a replacement / refund, but received no response. Avoid buying from this company.
Easy purchase and deliver process. Good communication and easy drop off. Will order again. Cheers.
Plants arrived on time and in perfect condition. The delivery driver Param was very helpful as well in unloading the plants and keeping them properly and safely. Very good customer service.
Exceptional service from Chris and his staff. We ordered plants for our new home and their patience and knowledge was exceptional. We placed a big order with confidence and open communication From store to delivery, they were professional beyond words.
Bought a few plants from Hellohelloplants and not happy about them. Others I can live with but the rose shown in the picture costs $23.99 and it’s even not a plant … just a branch…
Five stars to Melinda and Jonathon for their extra
special customer service. Melinda was a great help
when I wasn't sure about a couple of plants I chose and
Jonathon's bubbly personality was just what we needed
during these difficult times. The plants we received
were in excellent condition, great experience, thank you
to the Hello Hello team. Denise, from Mernda.
Oli was polite friendly and efficient when he delivered our trees. He was very considerate of our plants and worked in a COVID safe manner. Thank you!
Delivery was excellent, great care was taken. Thanks Oli:)
I enjoy ordering online with Hello Hello, so easy and efficient. And I’m confident that the items arrive in great condition. Thank you.
