Hello Chicken reviews
20Friendly service and food was good. Chicken was in the window for not sure how long, but it was still crispy.
Step into the culinary haven of Hello Chicken, nestled in the lively Southgate Food Court at Southbank. As I embarked on a gastronomic adventure, the tantalizing aroma of sizzling chicken beckoned me, promising a symphony of flavors.
I dived into the Chicken Rice Bowl, a delightful medley of tender chicken and aromatic rice that danced on my taste buds. The Spicy Chicken, a fiery masterpiece, added a thrilling kick to my culinary escapade. The taste? Undeniably good, though the portion left me yearning for more. Yes, the price is a tad steep, but the burst of flavors almost justifies the cost.
Navigating the vibrant food court, I found ample tables, a welcome surprise for those eager to savor Hello Chicken's creations. The service, while average, didn't dampen the overall experience.
Hello Chicken is a pricier affair, but the culinary symphony it orchestrates makes it a worthy indulgence. With a solid 3.5/5 rating, this food haven beckons those who crave not just a meal but an adventure in every bite.
Savor the thrill, embrace the spice – Hello Chicken is not just a food store; it's a flavorful narrative waiting to be devoured!
Fresh and tasty Korean meals, must try their fried chicken and kimchi fried rice so yummy, and liked their variety of sauces available for customers.
Never again. I’m suffering for the second day now after eating at this place. Worst gastro of my life
What a nice place for a quick bite. Fair bit of option for meals. Their chicken looks amazing. I tried the noodle which came with spicy chicken and it wasn’t too bad. The spicy choice wasn’t spicy at all. Noodle was flavourful, loved it! For the price, serving was quite good.
Service was okish. It’s at the Southgate food court so you will find sitting if not, just walk out the door and enjoy your meal by the river, with a nice view.
Very tasty Korean comfort food at Southgate food court, close to Hamer Hall and Art Center State Theater. Tried their Korean Stir fry noodles, served hot, good portions and prefect for a quick pre-theater meal.
We also liked their variety of sauces available for customers.
Got a bulgogi and japchae bowl for lunch and it was really tasty and good value. Great option for something quick and easy
Ramen, chicken, dumpling soup, and fried rice are all delicious and the owner is very friendly. Highly recommended.
It’s alright. One major problem I think is the chicken or any other meat could be served warmer. The service was quick but it needs a little more time for satisfaction. I will say it was cool to add extra toppings to the food though.
Food was tasty but served at room temperature not hot? Was weird to eat semi cold fried chicken and noodles. Sweet chili flavour is very sweet.
Overpriced non authentic frozen Korean food. Have given it a couple of chances and each time quality of food has been poor.
Loved their Korean ramen! I'm confused if the place is still called hello chicken but the store looks the same. I had the prawn ramen. It was so so so good. I think I like this more than Japanese ramen!
Really like this fried chicken shop. They have fair prices and the chicken is really good. The sweet chilly chicken is just spicy enough.
The ramen is a lot of food and looks good.
Curry is fair - very hot with the spicy chicken.
Good so spicy - it’s uneatable. Ruined my day. All you can taste it’s insane spiciness it’s drowning in pepper
Really fresh delicious spicy or not food. Great selection of meals for a food court, Friendly staff. I'll be back when we are in the area:)
Good selection of Korean based dishes.
Work locally to southgate so always good to see a new food outlet open up in what has become a bit of a struggling centre.
Liked the different menu options, from bulgogi to fried chicken and rice options. Bulgogi was decent and liked all the different sauces that are on offer.
Menu is a little expensive but on par with the likes of Grilld and Rolld in the same centre.
One slightly yuck thing was the kimchi was self serve and shared (which is good) but some disgusting lady wanted to taste it before she put it on her meal so dipped her finger in it first. Not sure what they can do to prevent animals like this in future.
Korean fried chicken fast food style. Decent portions at decent price. Service was quick and friendly and food was yummy but nothing special. Great complimentary sauces and condiments - the kimchi and spicy mayo was scrumptious!
Ate their Korean noodles, the noodles was way too salty and the spicy soy chicken was also too salty and too sweet. Where’s the balance in flavour? Lady that served just dumped a whole lot of food in my bowl without care, I guess you can’t expect much from bainmarie style food.
I loved their Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap! Staff was very friendly, definitely go back this place when i go out to Southbank area
I’ve been to India 16 times and never had food poisoning as bad as what I got from here. I believe it was the uncovered kimchi but I’m not sure. Only a good choice if you want to lose weight quick.
